Often times we forget about the genuineness in the singing department in our industry. The actors overshadow all the playback singers. I thought why not bring a musical thread back! :)

All of the singers in the poll had a hit series of songs at some point in time in their respected careers. Now times have changed, generations have changed, and most of them have faded out. We occasionally hear them sing from time to time, but the days where they would always have a song in a move have passed by. New singers have arises and taken over the limelight.

I had so much craze for Udit ji and Alka ji. Their pairing was one of a kind! (:

Other singers I miss are Sonu ji & Shaan.

It's a tough one, can't just vote for one.

I miss listening to Lataji, kavita, & kumar sanu's voices. Especially, the title song of HDDCS really gets to me. Kavita's voice is just superb especially in sad songs.

Sonu Nigam! So few songs from him these days. His Abhi mujh mein kahin from Agnipath last year was just out of the world- I get choked up everytime I listen to it! So much of emotions and such a melodious voice.Totally unfair that he was not given the Filmfare award for it.

Also Sukhwinder Singh. No one can sing at high range the way this guy can.

I miss her voice. She had a sweet & sensous voice. Kajrare was a classic. I feel bad for her bcoz she never realised her true potential.

I also miss all the singers from the list specially Udit-Alka.

Sonu Nigam..have no idea who the rest are..I just remember loving Sonu Nigam's voice in the 90s..whatever happened to him? Why doesn't he sing anymore for films?

I miss Alka as well..her voice was amazing.
