where has the romance gone ?

in all the serials nowdays, whether they are the saas bahu serials (kyunki, kahani etc) or the love stories (kaisa, kahin to hoga, kasautii etc).....romance just doesn't exist anymore....they never show the actual process of falling in love.... the characters always fall in love in the first 15-20 episodes and then the story is all abt their struggles to be together, overrcoming inane and implausible situations, scheming ppl or tear jerking twists and turns...

even in kaisa ye pyar hai......

1. angad is missing kripa...why?..... bec she insults him and screams out her lungs at him day and night...common... you can be attracted to someone bec they are different from the ppl u have normally met but not love them...thats just silly

2. prithvi loves kripa...why?....bec he was just soooo besotted by her on the first day he met her.....he hasn't even spent any time with her except acting like her driver.....he doesn't even know much about her....so for what reasons does he exactly love her?

3. kripa loves angad......why?......bec he is everything she hates in a man....she screams bloody murder whenever he is near her....she always misunderstands what he says....doesn't trust his intentions....then how is this love?

when i started watching this serial, i thought it will be about how 2 completely different ppl (A & K), who are so wrong for each other still fall in love while 2 ppl who are so similar (P & K) still always remain just friends

the serial should have shown how A & K actually fall in love......i thought they would show how they both become codependent and desperately need each other in their life....... how he teaches her to be more adventurous while she teaches him to settle down.... you know sort of compliment each other......where she gives him that security that someone loves u irrespective of your star status while he teaches her to risk it all

instead the serial has run full steam ahead.....and now we will get to silly twists to keep the lovers apart- plotting mothers, pregnant one night stands, silly misunderstandings, stupid revenge plots etc etc....

from whatever i can make out from the spoilers, it won't remain a love story anymore, i am not that excited about the serial anymore.

hope they do something abt the story and not turn it into another kasauti or kusum

Bips.....KYPH is an angry love story...you cannot expect mush and candles in this one.


A-K love each other inspite of themselves...against their will because that's how it meant to be.

Reminds me of LIZ and DARCY...there was no romance there...insults, humiliations, fiery exchanges but it was one of the best love stories ever written.

Love is not about romance alone...it can have a zillion shades!

ya..i get that nits.....but thats not what i am saying.....i am not saying show mush, candyfloss, silly heart shaped balloons......

no....thats not what i am saying....the serial is abt a month or two month old and the leads (all 4 - A, K, P and M) are already allegedly in love

they shld have shown more confict, more tussels, more of A and K fighting their feelings for each other and in the end realising how useless it was

what i am saying is that the conflict of personalities should have been shown more clearly

There has been no build up for Angad and Kripa's romance, they met, hated each other, got attracted, fought with one another, missed one another, fell in love and declared it, within 1.5 months of the soap getting aired!

Ekta is just misleading us to belive that this is a love story, I think KYPH will end up becoming a family drama😡 like all of Ekta's other soaps!

good point this serial is an angry love story it is not about some romantic scenes it is about how Angad feels irritated that someone is yelling at the way he is useing love as an commodity and not respecting that emotion which no one has done till on and he feels till now what he says is life it is just an excuse because he doesn't believe in love and thinks what he has lived till now was just his atyle of living
Anyways this is my point of view

Basically, the show was supposed to be about how two people who are totally different from each other fall in love, and it was supposed to be different from all the other balaji soaps...if you have one nights stands, plotting mothers and a plethora of other unimaginable and unrealistic problems it becomes another kasautii, kkusum...etc... Instead, if they do show kripa getting pregnant and angad leaves her high and dry, it would be better if she stayed alone and have prithvi and her parents as friends who give her full support, rather than have kripa's mom go into a diabetic coma and thus blackmailing kripa into marrying prithvi...And moreover, i think that prithvi should not let himself be used as a tissue by kripa... He loves kripa but she doesn't and nor can she develop such feelings for him... I think that he should understand that and move on... he should find a person (not necessarily Harshini) who can reciprocate his feelings for him... Quoting kripa, "koi bhi rishta ho, pyar ko sirf pyar ki zarurath hai..." So prithvi shouldn't jump at the chance of marrying kripa n he should also talk to her parents and make them see that getting her married is not the single solution for matters such as these... And from there, angad and kripa's love story can go on... rather than they getting married to prithvi and mishti resp... All this can happen if kripa gets pregnant.... i know ki that i have totally deviated from the topic, but from the previews/spoilers, it looks like this is what is gonna happens... and i am one who is totally against the mentality that getting pregnant before marriage is a sort of crime... not that it is right, but mistakes do happen and solution to those mistakes is not getting married to someone else... I know that our society looks down upon single mothers, but i respect them a lot... it takes a lot of courage and determination to go through what single mothers undergo, so hats off to them...okay, i better stop now as this is way off topic and way too long, bet there are people out there gunning for my head...
