Barun Sobti's fandom; a two edged sword!

Barun Sobti to me is a brilliant actor and a simple, humble human being. He rose to super stardom with his fantastic portrayal of ASR and made a million fans along the way. But he chose to leave the show at its peak because of his health, his family and since his heart was not in it anymore. The IPK closure fiasco turned me from a fan of ASR to a huge fan of Barun Sobti. But I am a Barun fan; not a fanatic; i will not decide what is good for him or not and do not expect him to live his life per my ideologies.

Barun has been in the center of mocking, bashing and negativity from some for many months now but at the same time the love, adulation and recognition he has been receiving world over clearly proves that his fans support him and his fan base continues to grow because he is the real deal; a complete package; as good as it gets.

Today he seems to be in the middle of another storm; one where his personal life is under constant scrutiny. Each interview, every word, every mention of his co-star or wife and we have fans groups jumping at each other's throat. It appalls me that different fan groups have turned his personal life into a freaking circus and everyone is ready to give their 2 cents👎🏼. There are strong rumor groups and stronger anti-rumor groups which in my opinion do more harm than good because they are a clear invitation for speculation and a display of pictures putting his private life up for discussion. Digging out old articles, old quotes and trying to connect the dots and add some spice to the mix is absolutely uncalled for because circumstances change so let's not dwell too much in the past.

As Barun clearly said in his recent Gulf times interview; actors are humans too; so please let's give him the respect he deserves. I love him for the great actor he is and admire him for the wonderful human being that everyone who has ever met him says he is. Who he chooses to be with on a personal level and for whatever reason does not and should not matter. It is his life, his happiness and his decision and I'm sure he is capable enough to make the right one for himself. So to all his fans who claim to love him unconditionally; it is time to look beyond the fan group you belong to and love him for who he is and not for who he is or is notassociated with on a personal level.

we are already loving him for the way he is and no need for such a post to remind his fans what to do for him and how to love him and how to respect him. While asking others not to discuss his personal lives, you have given a clear invitation to do the same here. Some quotes are done here also, while I think most of the people who reads his interview can understand what he says, no need to interpret his words as they are clear straightforward facts.

Every single time anyone brings up ANYTHING to do with his personal life, one way or another, it opens up a conversation that puts it into focus. Many well meaning fans don't seem to grasp that simple concept.

I just wish these rumours and anti rumours won't effect the concerned actors personal lives but the drama that's going on social networking sites looks freaking hilarious to the third party over there.They might be enjoying it with Popcorn and Pepsi😆

Agree completely with each word of yours. But the best thing we can do in this situation is ignoring the negativity. These are not gonna affect the actors in anyways. We don't need to try hard defending them anymore.

i think these rumour creators are mostly immature teenegers since they are supporting infidelity&extra marrital affairs.they will move on after some time.so there is no need to giv importance to them.

I don't think we should give importance to any kind of articles defending his personal life or spreading rumors about his personal life. Ignore those articles or posts. We are all here support Barun as an actor and wish him sucess in his future projects.
