KD did as told. He removed the cloth and saw a huge picture of his own family. Tears formed in his eyes. He blinked away his tears and hugged avantika. "Oh avantu...this is the best gift anyone could give me..." he whispered. And avantika sighed a relief that KD liked it. She was initiallly a bit hesitant about it , as KD's father passed away 6 months ago. But somehow , she felt that this was the only gift , she could give to KD. As he had everything. After all , he was a business tycoon , right?

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the party continued , KD went upstairs , near the balcony to get some fresh air. "KD!!!" he heard a whisper. He turned around to see Kiya standing in front of him. "Kiya...you shouldn't be here , go downstairs and enjoy the party..." he said calmly. "Your not angry that i came to your party..." she asked. KD nodded. "Kehsav..." she kept her hands on his shoulders but he moved away. "No kiya...only avantu has the right to call me keshav..." he whispered while looking into her eyes. "Oh!!" was she could only manage. "Kesh...i mean KD...whatever happened 1 year ago..." "was your fault..." he completed. "Kiya...mandap se tum bhagi thi...my dad had face a lot of humiliation because of that...but im glad that avantu stepped in and saved my dad from more humiliated..." he whispered.

 

 

 

 

 

 

"When did you get married...to her..." she asked. "Our timing was 4:30.p.m...you left at 3...i waited for you till midnight...and till 5:43.a.m the next morning...we were married..." he said , as a matter of factly. "KD...i had a problem...that's why i had to go..." she cried. "Yaa right...it took you 1 month to solve the problem right??" he asked. Kiya remembered , how she barged into his house after one month of that fiasco and saw avantika , in sindoor and mangalsutra. And that's when she understood everything. "Your problem...was your untimely...or maybe i should say timely concert..." he said. KD looked at kiya. "Kiya...im happy with avantu...she has healed me a lot...i didn't even understand , when she entered my heart and took a part of it with her. She was very patient with me from the beginning and never pushed me to the limits..." he said and smiled. "im not angry at you kiya...im just tired and avantu...she helped me...she made me believe in myself...today im a successful bussinessman just because of her faith in me..." he concluded.

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Avantu???" kiya asked. "Yaa...i call her avantu..." he said and continued. "I took a lot of time to accept her...but now...im happy...im happy with her...because i feel happy with her and..." he stopped , when he heard the sound of her payal. He saw avantika entering the room with a smile. "Hi guys...umm sorry actually Kiya...piddhi is looking for you..." she said , apologetically. "Yaa...i guess i should get going then..." she whispered and looked at KD , who looked back her. As she about to go , she heard him say "All the best in life Kiya...". She didn't turn back , as she knew , her defenses would break if she looks at him now. She ran out of the room. Avantika was confused by her behaviour and looked at KD. He sighed and smiled.
