Arshi FF :In Love With My Best Friend Chapter 9
"What happened to Khushi?" Arnav asked again
"She seems really sad. I hope she is okay. I tried asking her but she kept decaling it" Lavanya said while Arnav thoughts went to earlier who she confessed to him about her love.
Lavanaya noticed how Arnav was lost in his thought whenever she mentioned Khushi name but before she could say anything her phone rang.
She talked on the phone for about 15 minutes and after disconnecting it she looked at Arnav with a sad face.
"What happened?" Arnav asked getting up from his place.
"I have to go back. Some important clients are coming tomorrow and I can't miss the meeting with them"
Arnav was revealed when Lavanaya mentioned about going back.
"Hmm I will drop you off. When is the flight?" Arnav asked moving toward Lavanya
"Tomorrow morning at 5 a.m."
"It's too early but I will wake up"
"No jaan I will take the Taxi. I don't want to disturb your sleep"
"Don't worry. Why do you need to take Taxi when I am home?"
Lavanya wrapped her arms around Arnav neck and moved toward to kiss him on his lips.
"I will miss you. I can't wait to be with you. Promise me you will come back soon" Arnav nodded in yes and picked Lavanya up in his arms while he went to drop her off in her room.
He made her lay down on the bed and was about to go when she held his hand.
"Don't go. I feel like I am going to lose you"
Arnav came and sat beside her.
"Don't worry and even if that happened remember the moments we spent together or forget it"
Lavanaya sat up on the bed.
"Why are you talking like this?"
"You should sleep now. Tomorrow both of us have to get up early"
"Arnav is everything okay?" Lavanya asked worriedly and Arnav nodded in yes.
Next morning Arnav went to drop Lavanya off at the air-port. When he came home everyone was still sleeping so Arnav went to his room.
He woke up when he heard few knocks on the door.
"Who is it?" Arnav asked lazily
"It's me Arnav, Khushi"
Arnav got up and opened the door.
"What happened?"
"Woh I can't find Lavanya ji anywhere"
"Lavanya went back" Arnav sat and walked back to his bed.
"Went back? What does that mean? Not even two days passed and she left?" Khushi questioned confusingly.
"She had to go"
"What do you mean Arnav?" Khushi question but he explained her in a way she won't get hurt and she will understand.
Few days passed and Arnav decreased talking to Lavanya and started spending more time with Khushi.
After a month Arnav mother got a heart-attack and she wanted Arnav to get marry to Khushi right when she gets well. She wanted to see her son get married before anything happens to her.
When Arnav said yes to the marriage Khushi was shocked.
She followed him to his room.
"Why did you say yes to mom and dad?"
"Khushi I have already told you I will marry you?"
"Arnav but I thought that day you said it just to see me happy"
"And will you be happy if say no now?"
Khusi looked down.
"What about Lavanya ji?"
Arnav took a deep breath "We broke up"
"What?" Khushi said taking a step back.
"Look, Khushi I don't want to talk about this when we are getting married."
Khushi stayed quiet but still she didn't want to believe that Arnav and Lavanya had broken up.
Marriage ritual started the next day.
It was Arnav and Khushi Haldi day.
Arnav was talking to someone of his friends when his eyes fell on Khushi doctor and Arnav went to him.
"How are you?"
"Good. Thanks. Congrats on getting married to Khushi" Dr. Mehra said looking at Khushi.
Arnav didn't say anything.
"You know in a disease like depression medicines are only temporary but the real solution is someone love and that's what Khushi had been needing for all these years Arnav. Losing both parents at the same time is something that sometimes a child can't get over. She doesn't even have siblings who could look after her. Yes, your parents did a lot for her and I know Khushi is thankful for that but she needs your love more than your parents. And only you can bring your old Khushi back. Just return the same love to her that she gives you. Your love is only thing that can make her strong. She needs you and if you are not with her maybe she will lose her life. The only person she is living is for YOU. I hope your understanding what I am saying and keep them in your mind." Mr. Mehra said and left Arnav to go to Khushi.
Arnav stood there for few minutes just looking at Khushi how she was happy about their marriage. She was trying hard to not to show her blushing. He smiled to himself a little and walking to his position sitting opposite of Khushi with a duppata in the middle of them.
The ritual was done and most of the people had left.
"Both of you go upstair and I will send your dinner in your room" Mrs. Raizada said while Arnav and Khushi got up and headed to their rooms.
