There was a time when I wanted to sound logical but then I decided to make a full thread hit, I made a not so illogical remark and believe me, I thoroughly enjoyed it. 🤣 & I said not so illogical because it was still better than a lot of other logical arguments in forum 🤣

I am confused 😕 what did youo mean? I Remember your statement about annoying cousins . I have plenty of them!!! Kansan was in Pune for one year and did not learn to speak Marathi is unheard of. people form Pune are very annoying about others learning Marathi. So I have high respect for Kanan . Big time win for me over my cousins!!

waise now that Saraswati pooja is being discussed so much, I must tell you that for "thet" bengalis (thet kind of means in and out ) , Saraswati pooja is like Valentine's day. 😆 They can miss out on any other pooja but this one. Its the same time of the year as valentine's . In some parts of the country the current year books are kept beside Saraswati on the day of Basant Panchami (except my house 😆 ) so in Bengal after the books have been kept aside, they loiter around. They are very sensitive about the day.

Saumya , I learn very fast about this day! Now I am confused about Saraswati day or Shidur day . Now I must write you this story . I hope you are not offended by my actions !! Otherwise do not read it.

We had one Bangali girl in ICU. She was in car accident , in very bad shape. 5 broken bones .She was on respirator. During Navratri , her family showed up ( husband and his parents) with doop, deep Aarti and lots of Shindoor. Our Nurses could not stop them from entering her room. They started to sing and do pooja and applying shindoor on her . They were totally oblivious of the fact that that was ICU unit and most of the patients in that unit very serious. Panicked RN paged me in color code. When I came over I was stunned and I had no idea what to do. You must tell you that this girl was on respirator and O 2 tanks all over the unit. ( The whole hospital would have been towering inferno.) Parents who did not speak English got very upset with me and started cursing at us in Bangali . I had to get help and dragged them in my office. ( 4 security men) Took me 2 hours to get every thing under control.THIS WAS VERY EMBARRASSING .

I escorted them down stairs and I was shocked to see our receptionist was holding 20 ladies wearing white and red sari. Big time nightmare. Our hospitals are very sensitive about these Racial discriminative issues because lawyers love to make fortune over these Issues. I had to beg them to go way. They told me that this is their way to praying for her life ( Doctors were totally useless ) So I agrued with them on the point that every time girl does Shindoor pooja it's praying for " her husbands long life" not her own life ,.( so they should apply shindoor on her husband). No one thought of this before? I had to promise them to come over for " Shinddor Khelana" I had no Idea what I was getting into ! I went there in my street cloths directly from hospital . They managed to find sari and unfit blouse for me. Next thing I know my Mange was full of Shinddor and face too. I did not change and came home ( hoping that cop will not stop me and my husband will not be home ) with my good luck my husband was home and he could not stop laughing . He took pictures of me and posted on face book . they went viral . You must understand who I feel. I told my family I do not owe them any explanation . It's free country I live in and I can do any thing my heart allows. ( I am not religious person ! )That day I look like KADAK LAXIMI ( Kanan is from Mumbai she will know this expression)
