My Valentine...

A moment ponders in words...

She opened the door of the store, stepped out and inadvertently turned towards the opposite side of her way. A familiar figure appeared at distance. She smiled. His back was towards her. She took that moment of it and stood there to admire him. In white, he looked different for once A MAN she thought...but today she noticed something in that motion, in his body language. What is wrong? That's all she wanted to ask him. Nonetheless, she could not. He did not see her, nor could she approach him.

She felt her friend next to her; she looked at her and gestured towards that familiar figure. She just laughed at her friend's nervous reaction. She took her friend by her elbow and turned to walk towards the opposite direction from him.

Shook all her thoughts away, as the steps took her further away, creating more distance between them. Between Him and Her.

Then why there is, a lingering thought hanging around her? What is it? Why she cannot let go of this contemplation? Will she ever find the answer? Probably never.

Retreat a love to her it is...
