The beautiful and talented Pooja Joshi is a house-hold name today, courtesy her homely character of Varsha in Director's Kut's long-running show on Star Plus,Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
However, we wonder why Pooja in spite of being so talented has not taken up any other cameo role. When we put this question before the lady, we got a surprising answer. Said Pooja, "I have got great reviews so far playing Varsha. I have been offered many cameo roles, but my boy friend does not want me to take up any new show."
When probed further on what this exactly means, she stated, "I will quit television after marriage. Yeh Rishta has given me all the appreciation. I intend being a home maker in real life; my boy friend is also well settled and does not feel the need for me to work."
When asked whether marriage is on cards and she immediately gave the answer, "Yes, but not now. New Year has been incomplete for me as we are still to meet in 2013. He resides in Akola; we plan to meet this month end."
Pooja, that is a daring move considering the popularity you have garnered in Yeh Rishta. Here's wishing you success and happiness in personal and professional life, Pooja.
