2012 was a momentous year for me as I got to know and love this wonderful amazing woman, Kratika Sengar! That was the best part of my year ( yup I have no life 😆 if this is the highlight of my year)! I have yet to see tonight's episode and the TT interview, but with each passing day my respect and love for Kratika keeps increasing. Thanks to Kratika, I adore Gurmeet, whereas before I didn't care to know him or watch his work. Thanks to the Mittals for bringing these two powerhouses together and thanks again to Kratika for all you amazing people in this AT! Love you all ❤️! I hope this upcoming year brings more success to Kratika, Gurmeet, and Punar Vivah, and to us as well! Cheers, guys!

🥳 HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳

Happy New Year, my dear friends! I am so very glad that 2012 brought me to this forum on IF, because I truly value the friends I have found here, especially here in our little aashiyaan!
Lots of love and best wishes for a prosperous new year!
On a slightly random note, reposting this here. All credit to Thush!

Pause at 0:10 to 0:11. [Me: DEAD.]
EDIT: Just saw the New Year's wishes from a few Zee stars in the post that Thush made on the MF. My reaction...
"Gaaah, Gurmeet and Kratika are so cute! And they're SO good at the promotional things and Zee TV wishes they do together! The way they look to each other and play off of each other's cues to speak perfectly in unison at the end never fails to make me smile!"
And yet again, I just have to marvel at how beautifully they complement each other. We are SO blessed that the Mittals managed to cast them together!

Kadeen: Oh no. Not that scene! I feel like watching today's episode again now...Such fantastic acting and expressions by both Gurmeet and Kratika today, my God. The armlet/armband scene was INTENSE. Hell, all the interactions between Yash and Aarti were intense...and it doesn't end here!
Aside: That bajuband is very pretty! I hardly took in the jewelry details the first time I saw the scene because I was so caught up in watching Kratika's pained expressions and trying to come out of the shock caused by Gurmeet's tone of voice. Those two are lethal. I've been saying that for almost a year now, haven't I? And I think I'll be saying that until the end of time...

One of my all time favourite Punar Vivaah scenes officially. Cannot get those images and expressions out of my mind nor the emotions out of my heart. Oh BB, the look Kratika gives when Aarti realises that he's purposely hurting her, I went *gasp* heart hurting, and I was just looking at Gurmeet thinking *raaawwwr* you go Mr. Evil!! *whistle*🤣🤣 I'm kidding about the Gurmeet part, but his own eyes were so filled with this intense mix of anger and hurt, all I wanted was to reach in there and hug both of them. Truly one of the best scenes so far because they were together in this, in a new way and your heart couldn't help going out to them.

Right?! *nods vigorously*
(Kadeen, how many all-time favorite PV scenes do you have? I don't even know how many I have...LOL!)
Yes, yes, and yes again! Honestly speaking, the first time around, I was like, "Is he going to put the bajuband on her?...He is! Is he putting it on too tight? He IS...Kratika's expression, aaah...😒 He's doing this ON PURPOSE, ohhh! 😲 Shit, Gurmeet's voiceee...These two are freaking going to KILL me. Again... *sigh*"

Hi Girls.

Why do I feel so terrible for liking that scene so much. I mean I was like he IS hurting her OMG! He really IS hurting her to show her how it feels to be in pain. 😡But then the expressions on Yash and Aarti's faces were like sending me into a cardiac arrest. They were phenomenal! How do they do it? Yash's simmering anger laced with such deep hurt and Aarti's fear and hurt that he could hurt her was just so amazing to watch.

LOL!! BB that is a very good question. Frankly, since I don't just love the scenes that have only the leads, I can probably put together quite a list...note I haven't even seen every single episode of PV😆😆

***********

Me too!!! He kept looking at it, and for a moment I wondered if he might pull a Yash(throw it down or make a scene and walk away). He just looked so mad that she was standing there, pretending in front of the family when he could see in her eyes that she knew. She knew everything. Then when he does wrap it around her arm I noticed the slight discomfort in her face and I went...huh...what is he doing? Does he know what he's doing? Then he pulled it tighter and tighter around her arm and I couldn't help but wince as I saw her struggling not to let out a sound. Oh BB, it was so painful to watch. I literally sat there holding my chest, reeling from both of their emotions. The thing that really killed me though was one:

The look of hurt that flooded her eyes when he confirmed that he knew she was hurting and that he wanted her to know that he was doing it. In that instant I had a Prashant flashback, and I know some will say, oh he's nothing like Prashant, but it still made me think that. In fact one of the first things I thought when I saw that scene was "oh that is so mature Yash, hurt her because you're hurting". I spent all day thinking about this, then came home and specially rewatched her entry to the point where he snaps the band in place, and each time I got the same feeling. Sadness for Yash, and pain for Aarti because I knew the past to its full extent. It's one of those moments I will never forget and now that I think about it, I just remembered Kratika's expression the night he pushed her against the china cabinet. #Officiallyhurting Why is she so freaking good?!!

number two:

When they are about to have the confrontation and he keeps walking away. There is this moment, when she looks so tired just as she asks him one last time to wait. I instantly remembered her saying that she would die if he ever went out of her life. God that just about killed me right then and there. His final move, stopping, made me breathe again, but I could see how much he couldn't help but stop as if he sensed that had he walked away just then, he would lose her. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but that's how it looked from his end. Of course I do know that he hesitated because he was afraid to hear the words that would shatter his last vestiges of hope but still needed to know, but a girl can imagine.

Today, Kratika and Gurmeet stole my heart and made it theirs. They took Yash and Aarti's emotions and just poured them all into me and left me feeling every bit of sorrow. I still cannot get Kratika's eyes out of my mind BB

Didi you loved it for the same reason I did. You were waiting to see such a dark scene between these two so that we could feast on Kratika and Gurmeet's expressions and die a thousand deaths along with Yash and Aarti.😆 I was mentally smacking myself for liking a scene promoting what I would term domestic violence (looks around to see who will throw bricks at me), but just damn! So freaking fascinating to see it all play out. I kept thinking that in that moment there really was a Prashant/Yash juxtaposition when Aarti realises his intent. The difference is, she knew that he didn't really enjoy doing it because she could see how much it pained him to give her even a little of the hurt, but that he couldn't help himself because he had/has lost his mind. It's in his eyes. A dangerous wildness born out of anger, frustration and anguish. Frightening one.
