And like you said the pulling away will come from Aarti and not Yash. She is already feeling guilty and hurt at deceiving him. After seeing his unconditional support she will feel even more guilty that she kept all this from him for so long. In the MF there is a post by Nikki by the title: Should Aarti deserve punishment. It is a very interesting post where there are many many views that said Yash should show indifference to Aarti only then will she realize her mistakes. Aarti is a person who has already started realizing her mistakes. Because she still finds it difficult to blurt out the truth does not mean that she does not realize the grave mistake she is committing. To me there is no need for Yash to show any indifference because way before that Aarti will be drowning in a sea of guilt and self loathing. What could be a bigger punishment than that.
Kirthi, while I agree with you about the bolded part, I do want to see some reaction on Yash's part. I do not want him to accept her past without question as to why she did not tell him...because you see in some way, he is also responsible for her not being able to confide in him! His constant emphasis that he does not like lies and his past behaviour where he went berserk, that is part of why Aarti is not able to open up. True he has more than made up for his behaviour, but that kind of trauma remains in the subconscious and she needs some kind of solid confirmation that he will not freak out again before she can confess. So I want that small rift between them before Yash accepts and prepares to pull Aarti out of the mess...because that way both will realize their mistakes in their punar vivah! Yash had it too easy to come out of his funk post Mumbai...he has not reflected really on his behaviour then or what effect it has had on Aarti...just because she forgave him everything without even being asked for forgiveness!
I have posted on the thread which you have mentioned...I want to see redemption for both and for that a small rift for reflections is necessary! I don't want a separation but more a withdrawal even on Yash' part!
I can forgive Aarti everything except for the final lie...that of hiding the BMT from Yash, because while she may still have reservations on their husband-wife relationship, she has no doubts on Yash-Ansh relationship...and she insulted that when she gave in to blackmail by Dubeys.
Similarly, while Yash may be head over heels in love with Aarti now, he did treat her badly earlier and as per my feeling, he has not really atoned for it fully yet...in spite of all the lovey-dovey scenes, because he has not been able to instill that feeling of trust in her and she fears she will lose him
