Im not sure about geet because the channel was revamping anyway and they might have decided not to put too much effort in to it because well it was going to close anyway...I know it;s not an excuse to out out flimsy content but might have been a management level decision.

In IPK, I believe at one point Gul did loose interest due to creative restrictions. She did have a vision for the story but with all the external factors like Bhaiya's movie leave, panki preassure to change some aspects of the story etc (and who knows what other factors) I believe she never got the chance to tell the story the way she wanted. Again not an excuse to loose focus but then we cant force someone to regain her lost interest in a project...and then QH turned up, Bhaiya wanted to leave and Gul prbably decided IPK has finally become a lost cause.
