Lik once again you're trying to apply logic and common sense to something that is useless.

The concept is inspire from the movie but to have a serial it needed the masala which is the reason the two had memory loss. The husband got his memory back already. I know in the movie it was the wife that lost her memory and remember everyone, even thinking she was still engaged to her ex while her husband worked tirelessly to win his wife love by having her fall in love with him again cause she never got her memory back.

The serial has to have is own spin so it won't look like a complete copy 🥱 especially since they didn't have the rights the movie producers to make this serial. Like Ekta with Pkyek, she added all kinds of different angle to make it look original. Ekta claim originality before with Bandini and we all know the outcome 😆
