i remember you speaking about the bright kid who would have sensed all was not well between his parents. and yes yes yes, it wasn't, his father did lie. or as you quickly point out, not putting all money on it (since the writers are so full of sweet play ha ha), seems to have lied. cheated. womanised. so needed to see the change in an otherwise positive, happy, but hatke kid. that hatke in him, even as a child (remember anjali telling khushi about how he was a prickly pear, not comf with too much lovey dovey), that's what makes him evolve this way i guess. if you were just average and conventional to begin with, you'd possibly turn into an anjali and not an asr. no psychology gyaani here, but i keep feeling, in the beginning there was asr too, in the very seed from which he germinated.
