A jury's comment is entirely their own, it should be respected by others, m really dissapointed with asha jee, Everybody has an opinion thats why there are 3 judges so that each can freely present their own opinion...

The funniest thing was Asha giving examples of which words are no longer popular and which are the in thing. The examples included "Kismat" on both sides. So, Maharani Ashaji, is Kismat in or out??

On a serious note she said no body sings Urdu anymore. Really???

i feel asha ji didn't want anyone to judge the show except her. when Ayesha asked Abida ji for mulazim's appearance. Asha ji cut her and said he is looking like a business man

I agree with you , Pronunciation should be taken into consideration because an important part of singing..

And Asha ji was wrong on her part. If she can criticize Sara for her Bad Hindi . then Runa Ji can criticize Indrani for her Bad Urdu ..

However.. one problem arises

Hindi words, Urdu words both should be Pronounced properly .

Indrani - said the waqt like how most indians say it . So how should the word be pronounced like an indian , a Pakistani or An Arab ?

Waqt is an Arabic word . and Neither Pakistani Or Indian Pronounce the word properly . so now Should Yemeni or Egyptian ( since they have the most pure Arabic) be assigned to teach them ...

if they set a standard it must apply to all areas. Urdu , Hindi, English and Arabic is being butchered left and right on that stage. lack of pronunciation and annunciation is not acceptable in Singing.

[/QUOTE agreed...if a song is in urdu...it should be sung in urdu...e.g hai guzarish should not be sung as hai gujjarish...i have heard sonu nigum and other judges always correcting the contestants about their urdu pronounciation...dont know what has changed this time.

in singing pronounciation of words in a correct manner is so much important. I'm like hell shocked how Asha ji neglected it and sone pe suhaga she is advising Runa Laila ji to ignore as well...yeh kehke ke aaj ke generation ke log urdu kya gaate hai aur zarorat nahin hai😲...agar aisi baat hai to apne yeh jo gaana gaya (link down) hai apne khud kaha hai ke yeh gaana gaane se pehle MD ne aapko urdu ki practise karne ko kaha tha...and she bfore joining as a playback singer has taken up urdu classes

actually she herself agreed that during umaro jaan she was nervous as Khayaam saheb required her urdu to be PERFECT.

Me too was shocked wen a seasoned singer like Asha G said dat pronounciation does'nt matter..😕

Asha G should really not interfere in Runa G or Abida G judging.. Speak 4 urself Lady.. dont interfere in other's judgement.. Yes she should not criticize another jury's comment.. the other judges hav equal rights to comment watever they feel like.. u r not only da Maha Judge lady..😡
