Thanks for the post and for sharing a different perspective Antara.

My thoughts regarding FBs are in line with what Aparnauma has outlined.

It's not a problem that A kept getting those flashes, but the she way held on to them. At that time it appeared that she wanted to remain immersed in those memories, hence blocking Shiv's presence or thoughts in her mind.

Anyways, I am glad that she is taking efforts to move on and thats what we want from her.

Happy 2 c you again...we missed u much...thanks for throwing light on the subject...
Anandi remembered jagya's misdeeds n rejected him to recognize him even as a human being...she never forgets it..
Her recalling is contextual 4 comparing similar situations so as to identify her stand in the new environment n 2 justify her course of action that helps her to move ahead, not 4 running back 2 jagya...

She is moving on the normal, natural ,right track... But for the floodies here it is sooo UNREALISTIC... Zombie like...
Goodness is imaginary n crime is realistic...

Thank you for bringing the life back to the ambience...

Ofcourse for a second marriage girl comparison is a natural phenomena to feel happy about her new life...n it is necessary too... I liked her reply to chotima ...
If she totally forgets past n no recalling, she can't go ahead...chotima like people will make her recall it... N she is preparing herself to groove perfect into sasural n thus playing silent watcher role like any other newly married girl ...to identify herself in the home...not a house like a brick without mind work...

By nature Anandi is not revengetic ...so her FBs...too...

Her forgiving nature cannot be mistaken as running after jagya...

Hey Antara, so glad to see you back. How have you been? Thanks for the post, well explained.

Its only human to remember your past. But what one does with these memories is what really matters. Memories are a natural part of life and in a way shape our behavior, attitude and outlook. Hence its important to channelize these memories in such a way that one progresses in life rather than stagnates. Personally the good memories of my past give me a satisfaction of living that moment of life well, but the bad memories give me a reminder to not in any way repeat them again.

My thoughts about A's memories about J are very similar to what Aparnauma and Esha have written. They have very well articulated it and hence I will not repeat the same.

Shiv is slowly replacing all those memories of A with happy ones. This is precisely what he needs to do given that he wants to marry her and bring her out of her past. But in order for him to make a beginning she needed to give him a chance which was not happening in the initial few episodes. The A that we have seen in the past few episodes is the one who we recognize and adore. She is not only loving and respectful but also very sincere in all that she makes a commitment to. We do not expect her to change over night or fall in love with him, but she needed to make an attempt which she is doing right now.

In a way I am glad many people opened topics on A's flashbacks, whatever may be their reasons. In fact the official colors website has much more comments than what we have here. At least that way the CVs have been forced to not drag their episodes and move ahead.

Memories about your ex can be voluntary also. For example if you miss a person too much, you will sit and think about him over and over again. That's a different kind of memory recall---there you are asking your brain to search those memories and bring them back to you. That's called reminiscing and Anandi was doing that immediately after her break up with Jagya.

But now Anandi is not reminiscing. It's a totally involuntary recall of memories in which she has absolutely no control.
It is different if you sit in one corner and keep thinking about your ex for long hours trying to revive his memories, and if a vanilla strawberry ice cream reminds you of your ex on a date night. Those two are completely different things.

Thanks for the wonderful post Anthara👏👏👏 Though personally I never had a problem with teh FBs...you certainly put things in a much clearer perspective😊

@ Guddi...tu jyada uchal mat😉...your Prerna used to indulge in what Anthara has mentioned above...reminiscing😉...nothing involuntary in that😆

Nice post Antara,

my views match Andv, aparnauma and elasingh...No doubt memories are part of our life and will always be there no matter what and we can't control them...

Good memories come naturally to a person, but a strong human mind has tendency to control those memories, looking at the bad memories...Bad memories not neccessarily make one bitter as many pointed out, but make us stronger in certain situations and encourage us to move forward with a new determination...We always look at both the sides of the coin and then decide what is appropriate and what is not...

Yeah she is genuily trying now, but remembering those bad memories along with good, will remind her of why she is doing this and why she needs to forget the past...It will help her and make her life easier...!
