Why not focus on Ranganath and Anji?

For the first time, I felt a connect with Ranganath and Anji today...I am left wondering why the show cannot focus a little more on this couple if the issue is SK's absence...how is a jealousy track going to work if he is not going to be around...what is the purpose of this new entry really...or should we not even be asking such questions after today...seriously, I am stunned at the slide down from last week...TRP or no TRP, the show actually had a smooth and beautiful flow till last week...

This is not a teeny bopper show...I mean the audience for the show...so how will a juvenile track work...or was today's PJ cracking Dr Ashutosh an indication of the way forward...that everybody is going to turn juvenile in the hope that the young us will start watching the show for the charm of this new chap;...

Why could they not have focused on Ranganath and Anji issues and involved Nidhi in them...and the three families...and kept SK's presence to wherever possible..I actually want to see more of Ranganath and Anji after today...apart from the opening scene ( which did not really deliver what it promised), their scene was the only scene worth watching today!

Sujatha, I am very disappointed with today's episode. Confused about a lot of things...Ashutosh's friendless towards Mallika, mallikas advice to Nidhi and lastly the new entry. I am unable to process what was the idea behind separation...and as nidhi said that it was not Mallika but Ashutoshs behavior than it was very childish to leave your house over it.

Yes Ranji scene was worth watching..they deserve more screen presence...

KP ji.. has never done justice with RanJi ..they culd hv been developed as a lovely parallel track ... like we see in our padosi show... Vikram-Neha are so key to the whole plot...

Sujata: i dnt agree with ur pov.. Ranjie dnt bring high trps as they aren't that popular among others.. Talking abt sk's abesnce that u mentioned.. Well phele iss hafte ke Poore epis dehkte hain Then comment on it... Ranjie's twist & turns dnt think matters much to trp homes.. Its ashni that makes the differnce.. Anything happens btween them becomes the talking point..

This show started with something very unique, and as I see that uniqueness is getting lost somewhere. If the new entry is brought to make ashutosh jealous...than it is in a very poor taste.

Shivani...I tried hard to understand why AShutosh was trying to lighten the atmosphere and crack jokes with Mallika...I could come up with two answers here..

1. He knows she is leaving forever. He has already let go of his resentment of her for various reasons. He wants her to go with a light heart, if that is possible. It is like we try to make people who are regretting their actions better, We tell them that it is okay, divert the topic and try to make it lighter because we don't want them feeling bad and also don't want the burden of their angst on us, We just want to let go.

2, He does not want to discuss Nidhi with her. Despite all the levity, he gave her a funny look when she put a hand on his arm. So, he wants to keep her out of his personal space with Nidhi, He did not want to put it rudely but instead cracked jokes with a view to diverting her!

Barring this, his behaviour simply makes no sense.

Harshal. I am not saying the focus should shift from AshNi to RanJi...but if this is all about actor availability, and that is a big if, then why can'i interesting scenes be written involving Nidhi and RanJi...how your friendship eat into your couple time and this becomes a source of conflict...this could have interestingly dealt with...there are so many other ways of making tracks interesting and audience friendly...you just need to make the effort!
