ok I got this list of marriage rituals as Khushi named it (cz each region has different rituals) and i think this is what is applicable for ArHi marriage

this is Khushi's list not mine! from 9th Aug episode!!
1. Shagun
2. Roka ceremony
3. Kul deviki puja
4. Haldi
5. Mehendi
6. Sangeet
7. Phere/shadi
8. Moo Dikayi
9. Suhagraat

*edited from the replies - seems Khushi messed up the order and haldi should be no. 6 and comes just before the wedding after sangeet & menendi.

and after Phere, everything is safe...so we can disregard that for now!!😳

And now coming to the ones before that...

already 1 & 2 r done.
3 is right now going on and the timely arrival of Arnav will probably give Garima a get out clause once again..

that leaves haldi, mehendi & sangeet

that gets us to mehendi
here i think Shyam's medicine will do their magic and get Anjali sick.. this will make Arnav and dadi stay back with her while nani, mami and payal going over to Khushi's place
assuming this time mehendi would be at her place as it is supposed to be. even PaYash's time it was the scorpion scare that made Arnav demand the ceremony to be at his place so Anjali would be in front of his eyes. But dadi will demand it to be at the correct place and it would be at Gupta house

sangeet
still if Anjali is sick. this would be a small affair and would be at the Gupta's and dadi will stay back at RM...
this is usually held at the bride's house and men r banned..hitler dadi will ensure that i suppose

and if I am not mistaken, the haldi ceremony is conducted separately for both bride and the groom in the 2 houses. So dadi-Garima won't come face to face at that point.

Finally the shadi!!
here the bomb will most likely blow up!!

lol i should be studying!! i have midterms in 2 days time!🥱
I am exempted from the puja preparations at home(for early tomorrow morning) while all my cousins n family is here as everyone believes i am studying (as i should be! dang there is so much more to remember!!)
ah i really need to get back to the books!!

anyway i had to get this out of my head!!😆

Agree ..I just hope bomb blows after the 7 phere waise bhi I have no expectations abt suhagraat...

lol btw i don't want a suhagraat if we can't see it!! otherwise lol it better be there!!!😉

well actually no...as dadi said in traditional sense the bride and groom are not allowed to see each other from the haldi ceremony onwards till the time the bride is brought down for the mandap on her wedding..
the difference is female members from the grooms side will participate in the mehendi & sangeet ceremonies..

Shouldn't Haldi be the day before Marriage if this then what's the point of them can't see each other after Haldi? Wouldn't they be seeing each other at other functions like Sangeet?
