Dadi is prejudiced and has a pre conceived notion about khushi and hates her.. but mami has adifferent reason to taunt kushi.. she taunts khushi because kushi thought that mamiji was the servant of the house.. but i know that does not give her a reason for her snide remarks..but still from my POV mamiji's taunts are just her way of keeping busy and proving her importance in the house while DADI's remarks were prejudiced and downright derogatory..

This same thought passed through my mind when she said it. I felt so sorry for her. Aakash should learn to just stand up for his wife. I remember he stood up to his mum at the very start when he first wanted to get married to her. Then now that he's married and she's just there for him, it's almost as if he takes it for granted. Manorama wouldn't have such a snappy mouth if she was told off a couple of times. It's a shame about his behaviour most of the time really. But then again I do sometimes feel Payash's characters really haven't been sketched out properly by the CVs.

We shouldn't compare Payal and Khushi and who has suffered the most. We are never shown Payal alone and crying so we never see the extend of her pain.

Poor Payal ..
She don't know what her sister went through before Arnav start to stand for her , and against Dadi only ..
Till now, Neither Payal, nor Khushi are lucky to have ( Akash/ Arnav) as their husband .. they didn't stand for them as they should do ( My POV 😊) ..
Akash only onetime stood for Payal against his mom , and Arnav only stand by Khushi against his Dadi .. They both have a long way to be a perfects husband .. However, Arnav start a few steps in this way ..

Agree with you...I too felt Payal was thinking about her own situation...Akash's character has become so annoying - initially it felt like Payash romance would be light-hearted and fun compared to Arhi's intense passion and love-hate relationship, but now Akash character has become a joke...

I wonder why no one gives it back to mami - calling Khushi "phati saadi" is just too much, especially since it was mami who tore up that saree in the first place - may be the PH/channel think it's funny? I think it is quite demeaning.

Mami is intensely loyal to the family, but that's no reason why she should get away with taunting Payal-Khushi - I've never seen anyone in the family control her - nani will just say "Manorama" and then stop, Anjali will just look sad or shake her head...uff!
