Later that night..
Priya sat on her bed.. Thinking.. She kept looking at her phone an in an instant picked it up and dialled...
Priya: hi ram..
Ram: hi priya..
Priya: kya kar rahe thhe??
Ram: kuch nhi.. Bas timepass.. Chotti aur gyaan ke sath movie dekh raha thha..
Priya: wo aas paas hai kya?
Ram: nahi.. Wo mai terrace pe aa gaya...
Priya: ok.. Aap se kuch kehna thha..
Ram: bolo na.. Mai sun raha hu..
Priya: wo.. Im sorry...
Ram: priya.. Sorry kiss baat k lie?
Priya: mai janti hu ke mai aaj wo kachre ko lekar over react kar gayi.. Aap par aise hi chilla dia.. Toh uske lie sorry...
Ram: pata hai priya.. Tum me sabse acchi baat kya hai?
Priya: Kya ram?
Ram: tum chidti ho.. Sab pe gussa karti ho... Lekin jab baad me samaj jati ho ki galti tumhari thhi, turant maafi bhi maang leti ho.. I love that quality of urs...
Priyas cheeks tured red.. Ram had really n actually praised her for the very first time.. And she loved the feeling...
They remained quite for a minute.. Thinking about each other.. Then.. Priya spoke up..
Priya: accha ram, ek baat aur bolna thha aap se..
Ram: ab kis baat ke lie sorry?
Priya: maine sorry kab kaha.. Mujhe kuch aur baat karni hai..
Ram: Haan toh bolo..
Priya: Ram kal saturday hai na.. Toh mai kal nasik jaa rahi hu.. Shaam tak wapas aa jaungi.. Kal early morning nikalna hai.. 5-6 baje..
Ram: nasik kyu priya?
Priya: wahan NGO hai Ram.. Anath bacchon ke lie.. So jab b koi saturday free hoti hu, i go there to teach the kids.
Ram: oh.. Acchi baat hai.. Kya sikhati ho?
Priya: Dance..
Ram: tumhe dance karna aata hai?
Priya: its my fav hobby ram...
Ram: thats nice.. Waise jane kaise wali ho?
Priya: bus ys train se.. Aur kya?
Ram: Ram kapoor ki hone wali biwi.. Bus aur train me travel karegi... No ways... Mai car aur driver bhej dunga kal.. Wo subh 5 baje sharma house aa jayega.. Ok...
Priya: thanks ram..
Ram: iss me thanks ki zarurat nahi... Chalo.. Ab rakha hu... Baad me baat karte hai..
The next morning at 6.. Priya was ready... And she got a message from Ram saying the car was waiting down for her...
She smiled and went down.. She got into the backseat and told the driver that they need to go to nasik...
The driver has pushed back the seat and was sleeping with a hankie over his face.. Priya lifted her head and looked at the driver whon she had not seen so long..
Priya: Ram aap?? Aap ne kaha thha driver ko bhejenge.. Aap kyu aa gaye.. Aur itni subh jaag gaye!! Arre driver ko bhejna tha na.. Aur ye toh aapki car nahi hai na.. Aap ki car kahan hai??
She was goin on and on.. While still speaking, she got out of the backseat and sat on the frontseat beside ram.. Ram kept losening for sometime. Then, he quickly raised his hand and kept a finger on her lips...
Priya was stunned...
She felt shivers run through her body the moment his fingers touched her lips..
Ram: ab mai bolu . Meri car maa papa lekae gaye hai.. Wo.. Unhe urgently kal raat khin jna thha.. Unki car kharab hai... Driver unke sath gaya hai.. Toh mai aa gaya vikram ki car lekar... Ab chale ya aur kuch..
Priya: nahi.. Chalte hai..
Ram started the car and soon they zoomed off... They had a great time chatting with each other.. Spending some quality time together and knowing each other better...
Ram: tum ne bataya nhi tumhe dancing ka shauk hai..
Priya: haan.. Wo bachpan me seekha karti thhi.. Maa mujhe class le jati thi.. Lekin maa ke chale jane ke baad class jana chod dia... Pata hai ram.. Maa kaha karti thhi ki mai sabse zyada acchi tab lagti hu jab mai dance karti hu... Class toh maine jana chid dia.. Par apne iss shauk ko zinda rakha.. Maa ke lie mai iss shauk ko kabhi nahi chodungi...
Ram: how sweet of u priya... Pata hai.. Tum jaise dikhti ho na.. Waise ho nhi... Bilkul nariyal ki tarah ho.. Bahr se sakt.. Andar se naram..
Priya shied and looked out of the window..
Slowly the road turned uphill and the car started jerking..
Priya: kya hua ram.. Aap aise kyu chala rahe hai?
Ram: pata nahi yaar..
Priya: dont tell me aap ne petrol nhi bharvaya..
Ram: oh shit.. Wohi nahi bharvaya.. Kyuki ye diesel car hai..
Priya: very funny..
Both got out of the car..
Ram: arre dont worry yaar.. Maine jab vik se ghadi liya na indicator full bata raha tha.. Mai check karta hu.. Ruko..
Ram opened the bonet but couldnt understand what the problem could be.. He called up vikram..
Ram: abbe saale.. Teri gaadi band pad gayi hai!! Kharab h kya?
Vikram told him something from da other side and ram cut his phone with a disgusted expression..
Priya: kya baat hai ram?
Ram: wk.. Fuel indicator kharab hai.. Gaadi m diesel nhi hai... Sorry...
Priya: RAM!!
ram: accha.. Tum tension mat lo.. Wo peeche jo petrol pump tha na.. Waha se laate hai diesel..
Priya: wo pump kam se kam 5 km door thha.. Mai itna nahi chal sakti.. Aap kuch kijiye..
Ram: arre yaar.. Accha.. Tum yaha ruko.. Mai le ata hu diesel...
Priya was waiting there and ram returned with a can of diesel in an hour...
He came on a bike with someone and the guy sounded friendly with ram.. After dropping ram, he went away..
Priya: ram ye kon thhe..
Ram: wo petrol pump wala..
Priya: aap isko bhi jante ho?
Ram: nahi yaar.. Wo kya hai na.. Ye petrol dede k lie ready nahi thha.. Toh maine bol dia ke dekh bhai.. Meri shadi hone wali hai aur apni hone wali biwi ko lekar mai pehli baar ghumne nikla hu.. Meri izzat ka kachra ho iss se accha hai ki tu petrol de de.. Toh usne de dia aur khud bike pe drop b karne aa gaya..
Priya nodded her head and sat back into the car.. Ram refilled the car and they were soon on their way again..
It was almost 9..
Ram: priya.. Boht bhook lagi hai.. Mashta kar le..
Priya: yaa sure.. Koi hotel hai yahaan?
Ram: hotel ka pata nahi.. Par dhaba zarur dikh raha hai..
Priya: no ways ram..
But having no other option, they had to go to the dhaba.. They orderd paranthas for breakfast...
Ram: arre priya.. Kitchen m jake cook ka hath sanitizer se nahi dhulvaodgi?
Priya: haha.. Very funny..
Ram: accha.. Mera hath bhi nahi?
Priya: arre yaar.. Kya museebat hai.. Mai aaj lana bhool gayi sanitizer.. Aur waise b mai apni acchi aadatein aap ko kyyu sikhau.. Aur aisa khana khake aap aise healthy hai toh theek hai na..
Ram: yaar gussa kyu ho rahi ho?? Mazak thha..
The breakfast soon arrived and they thoroughly relished it... They walked back to the car which was parked a few metres away..
Ram: chalo.. Ab meri tanki b full h aur gaadi ki bhi.. Ab koi gadbad nahi ho sakti..
Priya: ho gaya satyanash...
Ram: kya hua?
Priya: ram.. Tyre puncture hai... Ab kya..
Ram: are tension mat lo.. Stepnie hai na..
Ram went to get the stepnie when..
Priya: ram kitne stepnie hai?
Ram: ek hai.. Kyu!
Priya: kyuki do tyres punctured hai..
Ram: what?? Oh no...
Priya: isse accha hota mai train me hi chali jati.. Kam se kam paunchne ki gurantee toh hoti...
Ram meanwhile had gone somewhere..
He returned in a few minutes in another car and a mechanic.. He showed the damaged tyres to the mechanic and asked priya to join him in the other car..
Priya: ab ye sab kya thha..
Ram: mai uss dhabe wale ke paas gaya aur usko saari baat batayi.. Ab uss ka garage bhi hai paas me.. Toh usne kaha ki mai uski car le jau aur wo humari car theek kar dega.. Phir sham ko wapas jate waqt hum uski car lauta denge aur apni le jayenge..
Priya: aur wo ye sab kyu kar raha hai?
Ram: insaniyat ke naate.. Kabhi kisi se acche se baat karne ki koshish karo.. Samaj aa jayega..
Priya gave him a look...
Ram: ok ok.. Chalo.. Nikalte hai..
They reached the NGO soon.. They had a hell of a time there.. Ram soon grew friendly with the kids... They loved Ram too... Ram was mesmerised by Priya's dance.. He kept looking at her..
Soon the day went by and it was time for them to leave... After a few hours of drive, RaYa reached Kapoor Mansion.. It was late night and the kapoors forced priya to stay there..
Priya was supposed to stay in the guest room but some unexpected guests turned up.. She was forced to stay in nuts room..
