The dialogue where khushi says she will not return home before the end of the contract shows she already accepts Arnav her husband but wants to start fresh without the overlooking clause above their head and mainly with the acceptance of anjali without coming btw the brother and sister
The whole shyams truth along with the marriage contract needs to come out before Anjali and the family members realising the innocence of khushi and the sacrifices that both have made to keep the illusions of the perfect world of every other family member intact
And for shyams also to return he needs to be shown like he has reformed which is only when they or the entire family being busy with other things such as Arnav khushi marriage
