Kareena is the reason behind Heroine is being hyped up now. Go on twitter, most people saying they cant wait to see Heroine, even if Madhur si repetetive, wanna watch for Kareena.

Heroine is being promoted and hyped up like a REGULAR BIGGIE. For a female oriented film, that's a first. No female oriented film has gotten this much hype even before the release of the first trailer.

Its called starpower

I duno if the hype has much to do with kareenas "starpower". It has more to do with Madhur. All his movies are hyped and all of them are women oriented. It all started chandni bar (that was his first movie, right?).

And the profit sharing, i believe Ash had agreed to that as well, so its not something I would credit kareena alone with. Its new but not something kareenas responsible for, anyone who filled the role wouldve been part of the profit sharing.

Oh, from what i remember, dates was an excuse kareena used for not liking the script. And then the script was changed when it went to Ash and then when it came back to kareena she was ok with the new script.

@nkapoor: More than Ash I think Vidya was playing on Kareena's mind when Madhur came back with Heroine to her. She knew she would get flak for doing Bodyguard and Ra1 while Vidya had started getting noticed for her bold choices like TDP and Kahaani. Heroine seemed perfect to aim for the National Award.
Ash also kept quiet about her pregnancy for the same reason. She wanted the National Award in her kitty. So the announcement was made at a point when the Bachchans thought Madhur couldnt go to anyone else as they already started filming.

Dont think so Enycedoll. I'd credit Aish where its due. She is a huge star after all, so yeah, if she was still in this film, I'd say she's be the first for profit sharing. Not taking that away from her in any way.

And yes, certain films of his are hyped, but none got this much attention even before a trailer release. Especially Jail, kinda just came and went. Neil Nitin Mukesh doenst really promise much starpower.

She said that, but there was another interview in which she mentioned the dates.

From what I remember, her diary was packed during those days. She kept taking up these films with the Khans and let go of some great projects.

By the time the film came around again, she had open slots.

I disagree here. Kareena did not know or even EXPECT that she would be so heavily criticized by everyone for doing those 2 films. She really thought she would own the year with 2 back to back massive hits with the KHANS. She expected to be considered #1, get praised, etc. It completely backfired on her. She was trashed by everyone for piggybacking on the Khans her way to the top whereas the same year Vidya did a bold film with great character scope, chance to shine, with people who don't have the starpower Salman and SRK do and still make that a massive success.

I do agree that Vidya's recent success probably played on Kareena's mind when she signed Heroine..

I'll stop pretending to know Kareena the day you stop pretending to know Karisma and accusing everyone who asks for evidence of facts related to Lolo as bullying, because nkapoor must know the ultimate truth.

People living in glass houses shouldnt be throwing stones nkapoor. Practice what you preach to others.

typical bring karisma in, I do know about the basics such as her education, and I did turn out to b right😆 did make a lot of people look silly , I do not cllaim to know about her decisions or date diaries, please I have a life!
