Actually Ansh was a bit over confident in this case /... he took it too lightly thinking he is the best and so he will read the speech on the spot directly .. he also had a blind trust on his father too in this case ...

Sungum- Ansh should have practiced his speech...like Jyo said he over confident. You can't blame the parents 100%. This gives the excuse to kids that whatever mistake...they won't get in trouble because thats mom and dad's responsibliity.

Another point here is Ansh is yet to reach a point where he accepts Yash as his "My Papa" rather than "Naye Papa" ...Today when Ansh sees that the speech which Yash wrote was all messed up , he quickly changes his tone and tells Palak "Your Papa is ganda" ... this sudden change from "Naye Papa" to "Your Papa" proves that he is yet to accept Yash fully as his "My Papa" ...it will happen with time I guess .. u got to spend more time with kids together .. mayb go for family picnics and all ...

@Jyo: Thanks. Yes, this intervention was very much necessary for Aarti and Yash, otherwise they would have gone on thinking that they are doing a great job, just because they have accepted each others' kids and are putting in sincere effort. But any effort is not enough. It has to be in the right direction and with the right context for it to be effective, and for the acceptance they feel for the others' kid to come across to the kids themselves. Without seeing how it is effecting the kids, they are congratulating each other on doing a great job! Thank god for Mr. Princy!

@Aparna: Oh yeah! I forgot to mention, though I did find it significant that while Palak drew her whole family, minus Ansh, Ansh only drew Yash. I wonder if this is because his idea of family is still not shaped to the standard nuclear family of Mummy/Papa/kids. His idea of family is perhaps a single parent, and it is slightly worrying that while Yash has an eye patch, Aarti doesn't figure at all! Has Yash in this instance by paying attention to Ansh when Aarti didn't, ousted her as his family, though being a family out of favour thanks to that speech? Ansh has accepted being a part of the Scindia family on a superficial level, but has his basic concept of a family structure really changed since he was the only child of a single parent?

Sometimes I wonder if Bua's actions r actually a blessing in disguise for AarYa and Kids ka bonding 😆

Ooh, Samana..so Ansh feels abandoned by his mom and ignored by his dad, that's indeed sad. Yash's picture is not flattering but Ansh seems to think only Yash cares. Even in his moment of loneliness when everyone was laughing, he didnt think why didnt Mommy write me a speech, it was just why did Daddy write such a bad speech.

Palak's drawing seems to indicate that she cant get rid of the Aarti menace even if she wanted to. This visual is such a strong reminder that Aarti is indeed coming on too strongly on Palak by forcing herself as Palak's mother. She should have started out as a friendly figure who would be gentle and nice but leave Palak alone. These brute force techniques dont seem to work.

Also, I think the days of lonely parenting no longer work. These two need to be lockstep on everything. The kind of splitting into teams that they did is for established families where there is no insecurity, not newly forming ones. Which again comes back to the point, Aarti and Yash do not look like they trust each other that much to collaborate, there is still a lot of independent thought...which leads to the really interesting question about this Punar Vivah - should a remarriage be forced on two non consenting adults? The question is especially relevant on the kids of such a marriage, because do the kids need to go through these massive adjustments for a marriage that doesnt have much going for it in itself?

If Aarti and Yash fell in love and then attempted to get their kids together, this whole chapter would be different...now its almost like they are going through the societal motions and labels for being good parents. What is the motivation for these two to shine in making the difference in the kids' lives. Specifically Yash. Since he has declared the relationship a non starter, why does he care about improving Ansh's life? In what capacity is he Ansh's dad if he is not Ansh's mom's husband?

Ansh ka main problem is till now in Dubey house he was enjoying all the attention being the only kid ... now he is made to share things with his sister ... So when someone gives him exclusive attention whether its Yash or Aarti , he feels grt and like a king but when he sees he is ignored or things r sort of shared between him and Palak , he feels insecure

@Aparna: I actually thought about your question in bold when we first got news of the Neelam track and it said she would be interested in Yash (so much for that! 😆). It made me wonder, in a situation that is not a television show, where the leads are not made and meant to fall in love with one another, what happens when they agree to this marriage of convenience and then meet someone they really like/fall in love with? I mean, for argument's sake (please don't throw things at me, people!), what if Yash married Aarti because she would make a good mom for her kids, but then found that it was another woman who drew him out of his grief and made him fall in love again? Would he really be cheating Aarti, considering they agreed never to fall in love with one another? It's a tough but interesting question, I think.

As for your last point, I think that is why Aarti answered in the affirmative when the principal asked if they loved each other. How can they be each other's kids' parents if they are not husband and wife, in the true sense? It is interesting to think that the distance between Aarti and Yash has become the distance between them and the kids and has been the distance that Bua has capitalised on to wreak havoc.
