Raghav was spot on! If he didn't explain his side of the story to his mother then she would always assume that he was in the wrong, as usual. So he had to explain the reason it all kicked off. She had to know the truth of the matter. I loved the fact that he didn't leave the misunderstanding for long. Because by him telling his mother the truth, the ice has started melting a little more between the two of them.
He asked Gayatri if someone had broken her home, then what would she do? She replied, as he expected, that she'd try and save it. And he told her, that's exactly what he did. Because that garage was his home. He had to stop them from tearing down his home.
Raghav also said something particularly interesting when he stated that:
"Apne Ghar Ko Banaana Aur Isse Logon Se Bachana, Maine Aapse Hi Seekha Hai"
He let his mother know that he doesn't regret what he did. And you could tell that Gayatri was pondering over his words. And then she did something that surprised me, like she did with the whole inviting Raghav to the table. I thought she'd say something like Sia, see him out. Or something.
But she actually told Sia to feed her son. Which brought a smile to Komal and Sia's face, as well as mine, because it was her way of saying, I understand. Because if she didn't, she could have easily let him leave with a snide remark. But instead, she gave him an indirect invitation to stay. Also, the fact that he may not have eaten since the morning, clearly showed that she cares. Otherwise why would she bring it up? She's a mother after all. They can leave themselves hungry, but they wouldn't want to see their child go hungry.
But before she could walk away from the situation, Raghav wanted to hear her side of the story. He wanted to know why she gave the order to tear down the garage.
The look on Gayatri's face when he asked her clearly showed that she had no idea what he was talking about. And if you think about it, no matter what she had against Raghav, she wouldn't tear down his garage; she knew how much it meant to him.
They needed to find the truth so that this misunderstanding could also be cleared.
As they were waiting for Sundar and Mr Ballah, Gayatri had to confirm with Raghav if his garage was on the same property that his late brother had gifted him. Which is also another reason why she wouldn't tear it down.
Gayatri felt embarrassed when Mr Ballah told her that she had signed the papers to tear the garage down. And she was confused. How could she let it happen?
And when everyone found out that Mr. Ballah had given Viraj the papers.
Twice Gayatri tried to keep her son calm when she could tell how angry he could get. And she knew how much Raghav couldn't stand Viraj. She needed to get to the bottom of this.
Raghav and Gayatri are starting to understand eachother. Let's hope Viraj doesn't create any misunderstanding to separate them.
But yet again, Gayatri got suckered into Viraj's words. Because when you see the last scene of the episode, with Gayatri talking to Komal about what she thinks about Viraj staying, it's clear that like I said a while ago, she is trying to fill the void of Dev, with Viraj.
Let's hope she doesn't have to pay a huge price for trusting this stranger.
And I love how Gayatri made a step when she told Raghav that he had something much more important to do. She wanted him to sort his garage out. She knows how much it means to him and for her to say that, clearly means it means something to her too.
That's it from me! Let me know what you think! đ
