How can this be called Indian Idol?!

I dunno if i am mistaken.. but i never saw any audition for south indian cities... if a major portion of India is not even considered then how can they call this show as Indian Idol.. Some of the biggest singing talents come from south .. Sad that they avoided it completely!!

I understand very well. Sreeram had to go and give his audition in Ahmedabad. This is sick. They completely ignore South India. 😡

I agree ..they left some big indian states .Is assam,meghayala,South India, goa etc etcis not in India ? Ridiculous show

They should atleast conduct some audition in some major cities atleast.. Like bangalore, chennai, hydrebad.. Very sad to see them jus avoid the singing talents from south.. Hindi movies n songs alone are not indian film n singing.. Other languages and states also are there..

Music is beyond language and cultural differences.. Its where soul and mind become one.. In old times they say its even possible to make it rain by singin.. Does anyone have d mail id of sony channels and shows incharge.. I really would wanna point out this mistake they are doing..

I'm pretty sure they go EVERYWHERE.

They don't show it all though.

They probably had mini auditions there, and brought the good people to like Mumbai auditions.

This has always been the case. It doesn't matter. It's not like the south is depending on this show. They have their own version and find pretty good talent on their own. A stupid title doesn't change anything.

very true.. Nothing lies in a name infact..and I dont watch it now.. Used to like d first season when the talents were fresh.. Not the same old faces seen in other channels..

they go everywhere and for south India ...unfortunately we have to understand before people never used to even speak in Hindi if u tried...nwo a days trend is changing but they r very loyal to their local languages which i find very nice as i feel we Punjabi's insult our mother tongue most...but actually Indian idol does try to cover all major areas where Hindi music/Sony TV is popular
