heys everyone i just started watching d3 and i am a huge fan of the show especially swaron.even though i totally adore swayam but sometime he appears to be a mysterious character to me.well the major reason is that even though swayam is so rich then why is he so down to earth.i mean it is good to be but swayam is too simple and secondly swayam lives alone in the house without his parents and it is till now seen him talking or even mentioning his parent and thirdly when tani was sent to mumbai dadi talked with swayam while this all decision should have been taken by his parent.basicallly i am interested to know about swayam familly.was it even mentioned .pls help me clear my doubt

Well dekha jaaye to Kriya ki mom ko chodkar kisi ke parents ko show main nahi dikhaya gaya hai. But something which we may have come to know over the course of time
1. Sharon's Father is Gautam Rai Prakash who is a great dancer himself .Infact St.Louis ki dance rehersal hall is sponsored by him. There is very much strong speculation that he is also Kriya's father.( this is not a fact but just a theory for now)
2. Rey's father is i guess Steel tycoon, one of the biggest buisnessman around (I can't remember correctly. So anyone if i'm wrong correct me ).
3. Swayam ke parents ke baare mein kabhi nahi dikhaya gaya. Closest thing related to parents was the call from his dadi. So its a mystery u may say. But yeah he is rich from begining but very grounded. Never showing off. But always helping friends when needed. He funded Kriya's election campaign on his own.

It will be good if they bring in Swayam's parents atleast once. I just saw one Chauffeur , one house keeper and Taani in Swayam's house. It really seems that Swayam's parents are really not bothered of him especially when he got hurt in his hand and also no one from family came to intervene when Swayam wanted to quit the college because of Sharon's closeness towards Shivam after New Year party.

Yeah i agree with you. D3 is a show about teenagers and therefore parents for not only Swayam but everyone is needed. Thats why i would always rate REMIX ( it was a show on star one if u don't know ) always above D3 or any other show about youth . That was one hell of show with the parents of not only the four leads but even the supporting character parents were given substantial role. It was really awesome. And the parents of lead were not less than the lead themselves.

Yeah i agree with you guys, its like there parents don't exist on the same planet.

Never have i seen anyone even mention anything about there parents except may be few times.

Its like they are on themselves and take all important decisions on own.

I always thought the reason behind Sharon being what she is would be connected to what her family conditions are...but nope the CV's don't seem to have enough time.

This being the only show i follow i have nothing to compare it with, its only when fellow forum members bring other show names i get to know what D3 is been lacking all the while.

Rightly said if backstory of each character along with their parents are shown then we may have a understanding of chracters in a much better way. And you may have mentioned correctly about Sharon. More than anyone she needed a back story.
And not only parents we need characters playing their teacher too. So far we have seen RDX sir, Principal, Karan sir , Nicole Mam and VP. But apart from Karan Sir all rest have negligible screen presence and even less impact on the show.

I feel, soon after there college life ends they are going to introduce there parents. Because as said by Palki mam in "D3 cast says goodbye to Shakti" video, in future they're going to show the problems faced by these people in taking dancing as a career option. And at that time they will show there parent's cause, they have to show that most of the parents don't welcome the idea of dancing as career option, for them dance as a hobby is cool but as career it involves risk.
