Why Ashu didn't Marry Before

Mallu loved Ashu from last 12 years...OK,from last 5 years,Baba left him and he was depressed to an extent than he lost his belief in Rishtaa...
But what about earlier 7 yrs-He didn't Marry Mallu or anyone else...what may be the reason?He was already 37 then...Was he waiting for a girl like Nidhi?😉
