do these people live in denial or what? Still nearly 30% of the Indian population live below the poverty line, infact I think the real numbers are much more higher than that. While I agree there are other aspects to India, but slums is not a Hollywood creation- they are there everywhere.

Any1likes it or not bt there r slums in India... wid almost 45% below the poverty line... if my numbrs r correct... n wat the movie showed is sensible cz thats wat dere is, n I have been to Kolkata... its a lovely city in terms of culture aspect... bt very unhygenic frm all standards.

yea a lot of ppl were laughing in theater during that scene (not sure why? ) maybe cos the ppl were speaking in accented hindi 🤔

Slums and poverty is the reality. Some bollywood stars live in denial!

Although I have to agree the set design of the slums was quite bad in the movie...I didn't like it!

Damn right! Hollywood should show the REAL INDIA---the one real Indians know so well, with half white women or full white women with black hair and Birkin bags who hang out in coffee shops and debate the merits of committing romantically to rich NRI guys, or the sons of wealthy industrialists who also look or are half white.
