Hello guys!! Really late with this weekend's treat as for most of you residing in India or other places, the weekend is almost over. But anyways, here it is VIRIKA OS for this week; this is the best I could come up with my hectic work schedule and such short time. Feel free to critique the work and send your comments! This OS continues on from friday's episode so keep that in my mind! Thank You!!
They all got off the bus and before Jeevika could get down, Viren walked ahead following Virat and leaving Jeevika behind with Manvi. Manvi noticed this and understood that all is still not well between her and Viren, thus, decided to talk to her alone later on. Everyone dispersed out in their own small groups; Virat and Viren went to check out the resort while Jeevika and Manvi were walking through the park. To end the silence, Manvi pulled Jeevika into the corner to talk to her and put an end to all this.
Manvi: Di!!! Kya hua hai, aap subah se itni gumsum kyun ho? Jeeju se abhi tak patch up nahi hua?
Jeevika: Pata nahi Mannu, mujhe khud samaj nahi aa raha ki Viren ji ko achanak kya ho gaya hai; kabse manane ki koshish kar rahi hoon lekin yeh hain ki bas…..
Manvi: Abh is picnic par apka mood itna down rahega to aap enjoy kaise karogi; anyways kuch to idea lagana padega. Uhhh haan ek idea hai, di bas aap yahin ruko main abhi aayi
Jeevika: Are lekin tu kya karne wali hai mujhe to bata
Manvi whispered something in her ears only to alleviate the tension on Jeevika's face.
Jeevika: Nahi Mannu, tu aisa kuch nahi karegi aur main yeh sabh nahi kar sakti
Manvi: Hello, abh yehi idea bacha hai warna sari picnic aap jiju ko manati reh jaogi aur voh nahi manege; trust me, yeh idea zaroor kaam karega
Before Jeevika could do or say anything, Manvi ran from there telling Jeevika to stay there. On the other hand, Viren was upset at the recent turn of events and he was talking to Virat to express his uneasiness with this fake act.
Viren: Mere bhai, teri love story ka to pata nahi par jaise tu mujhse yeh acting karwa raha hai na, us hisab se meri love story ka zaroor the end ho jayega. Please tere paas mauka hai Manvi ko apni dil ki baat kehne ka, jaa usse baat kar aur please mujhe maaf kar. Yaar bichari Jeevika ka mood sare raste itna down tha; voh kya kuch nahi kar rahi mujhe manane ke liye aur main hoon ke bas…..
Just as they were talking, Manvi rushed up to them getting surprised looks from both Viren and Virat as to what happened to her.
Manvi: Jiju jaldi chaliye; di……..
Viren: Kya hua Jeevika ko?
Manvi: Voh di…… umm hum log wahan walk kar rahe the ki di ko achanak chakar aa gaya aur voh behosh ho gayin. Mujhe kuch samaj main nahi aaya aur main seedha yahan chale aayi.
This was enough to get Viren running towards the other side of the park to find Jeevika whereas Virat tried to follow Viren but was stopped by Manvi from doing so.
Manvi: Oh hello, tum kidhar?
Virat: Main dekhne ja raha hoon ki bhabhi ko kya hua hai aur bhai ko help chahiye hogi
Manvi: Koi zaroorat nahi hai; ruko yahan par. Are yaar, di ko kuch nahi hua hai bas voh to maine Jeeju ko didi ke paas bhejne ke liye thoda jhooth bol diya….. abh dekhna kaise patch up hota hai un dono ka
Virat stood there as if he could not believe what Manvi just did, but then again knowing her, this wasn't something new. However, he feared that Viren might give in to the situation and patch up with Jeevika and his plan to come closer to Manvi would go haywire. On the other hand, Viren arrived on the other side of the park to see Jeevika standing perfectly fine; slowly catching his breath, he walked up to her and placed his hand on her shoulder making her turn to face him. Jeevika knew it must be Viren; she turned around with teary eyes to face Viren who was relieved to see her being perfectly fine. Both stood there looking at each other for few minutes without exchanging any words. Finally Jeevika broke the silence while gazing at Viren who was about to leave but Jeevika held his hand.
Jeevika: Aaj apko meri baat sunni padegi, Viren Ji. I am sorry maine aise jhooth bolkar apko yahan bulaya. Waise to yeh Mannu ka idea tha lekin mere paas bhi aur koi option nahi bacha tha; kabse main apse baat karne ki koshish kar rahi hoon aur aap hain ki mujhe ignore kiye ja rahe hain. Aapne itne dino jo bhi mere gharwalon ke liye kiya usse mere dil main apke liye pyaar aur izzat dono badh gayi hain; aur main khush hoon ki aapne yahan kar sabh kuch sambhaal liya par Viren Ji, is aadhi adhoori khushi ka main kya karoon; jis insaan ne mere parivaar ko apna maan kar itna kuch kiya, aaj vohi agar mujhse naraaz hai to phir is sabh main to ek tarah se meri haar hi huyi; aisi khushi ka kya fayada jo bemaani ho……Main nahi jaanti Viren Ji ki Virat aur Manvi ka future kya hai lekin unke liye hum apna aaj kyun kharab kar rahe hain.
Viren's heart sank hearing all this; as if his guilt was not enough, Jeevika's teary eyes and broken voice made him feel even worse. He knew he was doing all this as a pretense but it definitely affected her more than he thought; he lowered his head unable to face her and look into her eyes, but only he knew how was managing to hold himself from engulfing her in a tight hug and make up for the last few days. Just as he was thinking of all this, he looked up to see Jeevika coming in close proximity; she slowly placed her right hand on his left cheek and placed a kiss on the right cheek only to rest her head on his chest afterwards. Viren closed his eyes and slowly placed his right arm around her holding her lightly and just then he saw Virat approaching them while Manvi was following him. He quickly removed his arm from her neck and stood back making Jeevika confused.
Viren: Uh….umm….dekho Jeevika, yeh jhooth bolkar tumne acha nahi kiya…… apni galti maanne ki baajaye jhooth bolkar mujhe yahan bulaya……
Jeevika, confused, as if he had not heard even a word of what she just said and Manvi was wondering the same that how can Viren be so adamant and not forgiving Jeevika despite her umpteen attempts. Viren slowly walked away from there with a false act of anger and glared at Virat who just followed him leaving the sisters behind. Jeevika wiped her tears as Manvi held her by her shoulders.
Manvi: Di, kya hua? Jeeju aise kaise jaa sakte hain, apne baat ki naa unse?
Jeevika: Haan Mannu lekin Viren Ji ne kuch react hi nahi kiya; khair chod abh bahut ho gaya, maine apni taraf se poori koshish ki hai Viren Ji se baat karne ki aur unhe manane ki par abh aur nahi. Chal chod yeh sabh aura aa mere saath.
On the other hand, Viren was furious and sad at the same after seeing Jeevika in a state like that; he wanted to help his brother but not at the cost of losing or parting away from Jeevika. Virat came up to him to ask him what happened.
Virat: Bhai, Bhabhi theek to hai na?
Viren: Bilkul theek nahi hai vo, tu to jaanta hai na ki voh zara si baat ko bhi bahut seriously le leti hai aur yahan to main usse baat karne ki bajaye usse aur gussa hone ka natak kar raha hoon. Yaar please abh yeh mere se aur nahi hota, main Jeevika ko is halat main nahi dekh sakta. Please mere bhai mujhe galat mat samaj lekin baat zayada badh chuki hai; aur isse pehle ki Jeevika is sabh ka kuch aur matlab nikale yaan ghar main kisi ko kuch pata chale, tu please apna aur Manvi ka matter handle karle.
Virat: I am sorry Bhai, I understand… aap tension mat lo; aap jakar bhabhi se baat karo aur is romantic trip ke bache kuch pal ko enjoy karo.
Viren smiled at him; they shook hands and hugged wishing good luck to each other. It was night time now and everyone was gathered outside to have dinner; they all sat in a circle and Viren used this opportunity to rectify his actions from last few days. He slowly came and sat next to Jeevika passing on a smile to her only to see her getting up in the pretext of passing the food to Beeji on the other corner and coming back to sit next to Manvi. Viren sighed and looked at Virat who passed on a sorry look. After finishing dinner, everyone was just sitting around chatting when an idea struck Virat.
Virat: Are, ek game khelte hain……uhhh truth and dare.
Dabbu: Haan Virat bhaiya yeh idea acha hai.
Jeevika: Mujhe nahi khelna, main sirf baith kar dekhungi.
Virat and Viren shared a look again that their idea partially flopped; but they played nevertheless. After playing for a while, it was Viren's turn.
Virat: So bhai, truth or dare?
Viren: Um…. Dare!
Virat: Acha to theek hai abhi sabhke samne aap Bhabhi ke liye gaana gayiye
Saying this Viren turned to look at Virat who winked at him signaling that this is the opportunity to score points and pacify Jeevika. Viren looked at Jeevika who was sitting across him with her neck lowered down and was playing with her dupatta. Manvi looked at Viren to see whether he would sing now. Viren finally started singing and the first line caught Jeevika's attention; "humain tumse pyaar kitna, yeh hum nahi jaante. Magar Jee nahi sakte tumhare bina".
Jeevika (thinking): Mere liye gift aur voh bhi yahan is waqt? Abh main….. ek to yeh Viren Ji pata nahi kahan chale gaye!
She quickly grabbed her shawl and wrapped it around herself and headed downstairs to the reception. She picked up a small gift package that had no name or message attached to it; she walked over to the side and opened the package out of curiosity. To her surprise, there was only one piece of paper in that small box which read, "ek baat hai jo dil main hai, agar de sakein deedar apna, to yeh nacheez apke intezaar main hai". She closed the letter to find a sea shell in the box which indicated sea- a beach, she thought! She slowly walked to the back of the resort heading to the small beach. The wind swayed her hair around and she held on to her shawl tightly feeling slight cold; as she made her way to the beach, her eyes scanned the area and she found track of small pebbles in a straight line as if trying to direct one in particular direction. Slowly, she followed the pebble track and reached to the farthest end of the beach where a message written on sand caught her attention; a sad face was drawn on the sand and underneath it said "I am sorry"!
Viren: I am sorry, Jeevika (holding his ears) which made Jeevika let out a small chuckle as she nodded her head watching his tactics to apologize and pacify her.
Viren: Jeevika, main jaanta hoon ki maine tumhe bahut hurt kiya hai... I have been a complete idiot! But yeh sabh maine apni khushi se nahi kiya... Virat aur Manvi ke liye kiya...
Jeevika: Matlab?
Viren explained her everything how he picked out silly fights on purpose with a weird logic of bringing Manvi & Virat closer; Jeevika was shocked & surprised beyond anything!
Viren: Jeevika, itne dino se main jaan bhooj kar tumse ladne ka naatak kar raha tha; Tumhe bura laga lekin yakeen maano mujhe bhi bahut bura laga aur especially aaj tumhari baat sunne ke baad- i felt even more guilty. Tum jo bhi kich rahi thi mujhe manane ke liye us sabh se mujhe khushi huyi aur main hi jaanta ki maine apne aap ko kaise control kiya... par khair abh maine Virat ko keh diya hai ki uske chakar mein, main apni beewi ko naraaz nahi kar sakta aur uske pyaare se chehre par udaasi nahi dekh sakta! So aaj ke baad, hum Virat aur Manvi ki baat ko lekar jhagda nahi karenge, I promise!
Jeevika stood there unsure whether she should be angry at him for doing all this to make her angry on purpose and especially to bring Manvi closer to Virat when she clearly told him that thats not the case between those two, or be happy that his heart was in right place while doing all this- doing all this for his brother and her sister after doing what he did for her family!
Viren studied her face and her expressions that formed, and he stood there waiting for her to talk but his anxiousness took over ultimately causing him to talk again.
Viren: I know ki yeh sabh karne ke baad, meri sorry bahut choti cheez hai- tumne mujhse kitni baar maafi maangi jabki tumhari koi galti bhi nahi thi aur maine itni rudely tumhe ignore kar diya... chalo ek kaam karte hain, punishment ke taur par abh tum mujhe ignore kar sakti ho... theek hai?
Jeevika smiled to herself hearing her husband's wonderful suggestion- ofcourse with sarcasm in full effect!
Jeevika: Agar main ignore karungi to baat to vahi reh jayegi na... ignore aap karein yaan main... end main nuksaan to hum dono ka hi hai aur masla to wahin ka wahin reh jayega ki hum dono ek doosre se baat nahi kar paayenge...
Viren (smiled): Are haan yaar yeh to maine socha hi nahi... acha... main bhi tumse waise hi maafi maangta hoon jaise tumne mujhse maangi thi...
Jeevika looked at him with an questioning look noticing his face and eyes glow. He came close to her and moved her hair from her eyes that were disruping her view; Jeevika looked upto him wondering what he was upto when he carassed her cheek and placed a soft kiss on the other making her feel weak. She blushed knowing now what Viren meant by copying her way to apologize while Viren smiled seeing her turning red thinking about earlier.
Jeevika: Abh pati ji itne pyaar se maafi maangege to main to kya koi bhi maaf kardega... beewi ko naraaz karke phir aise surprises dekar manana to koi aapse seekhe
Viren: To iska matlab teacher ji ne apne student ko maaf kardiya?
Jeevika nodded smiling and Viren breathed a sigh of relief.
Viren: Mujhe guarantee chahiye kya pata phir rooth jaao... waise main to lucky ki kitne achi beewi mili hai jo ki jald maan jaati hain warna doosri beewiyan to...
Jeevika: Doosri beewiyan? Apko kaise pata doosri beewiyon ka...
Viren: Are meri teacher ji, mera voh matlab nahi tha...apke jaisi patni jiske paas ho, voh to bewkoof hi hoga ki kisi aur ko dekhe. Khair... haan... mujhe proof chahiye ki tumne mujhe maaf kardiya...
Jeevika smiled and came close to him and wrapped her shawl around him and engulfed him in a tight hug; Viren was elated at her move and held her tightly as if making up for the last few days. He whispered "I missed you!" in her ears to hear a similar reply from Jeevika who was more than happy to be in arms of her husband at this very moment.
They broke apart and looked at each other feeling content that they had made up; they slowly walked to their room while Jeevika rested her head on his shoulder and Viren held her close to him by resting his hand on her waist. Jeevika opened up the door to their room only to be surprised witnessing the room decorated with candles and rose petals. She turned around to face Viren with an questioning look.
Jeevika: Viren Ji, yeh sabh?
Viren lifted her off her feet and carried her to the bed as he whispered "Itne dino ki bharpaayi karne ke liye" making Jeevika blush like anything, who saught shelter in his chest to hide herself. He placed her down and placed another kiss on her forehead and Jeevika enjoyed every moment of this with her eyes closed. They spent the night showering love on each other and slept in others' arms after what felt like an eternity!
Next morning, they both walked out holding each others hands to join others in the bus to head back home. Manvi & Virat looked at them with a smile knowing everything worked out between them; Virat winked at Jeevika with a smirk making her blush while Manvi hugged her to save her from further embarassment. Viren sat next to Jeevika on the bus holding her hand while Jeevika rested her head on his shoulder, and Viren spoke out "Dabbu, voh shaadi wali CD bajaa naa yaar" and winked at Jeevika making her smile and blush at the same time. They completed the journey back home in each other's company, remembering their wedding rituals, as Tu Hi Tu played on the background!

OS- LOVE RIDDLE
"Damn!"
thought Viren to himself as he looked at Jeevika sitting alone on the
seat across his and her sad face made him even more guilty. He knew
that un-intentionally he has hurt her a lot in the past few days by
starting a baseless argument and ignoring her. Amidst this new
evolving love story of Virat and Manvi, he felt as if his own love
story has taken a sour detour and he feared that this fake act of
putting up a fight with her might escalate the situation leading up
to a serious problem between them. Jeevika, on the other hand, sat in
her seat next the window with her eyes closed thinking about all that
had been going since last few days. She could not really come up with
any reason or justification for Viren's sudden and strange
behavior; they had difference of opinion regarding Manvi and Virat's
relationship, but she had never thought that things would take such a
turn. She took the initiative and tried talking to Viren earlier but
things were left in between; she wished that this picnic trip would
serve as an opportunity for them to clear out the air. Her train of
thoughts was disrupted by bus' sudden break and her head nearly
clashed with the side window; shortly after they arrived at the
picnic venue which was nearby a resort located the farmland area and
away from the city.

Viren finally started singing and the first line caught Jeevika's attention; "humain tumse pyaar kitna, yeh hum nahi jaante. Magar Jee nahi sakte tumhare bina".
His eyes were
fixed on Jeevika while
singing
the song while Jeevika did not make any eye contact; Manvi and others
were happy that he was singing such a romantic song for her. Viren
finished the song as others clapped when Jeevika got up and left the
scene saying that she needs to go to the washroom. Everyone thought
she had used this as an excuse because she shied away but Viren,
Virat, and Manvi knew the actual reason behind her action. Viren
exchanged an angry look with Virat indicating that he is in deep
trouble now; he did not listen to Jeevika when she was trying to
pacify him, and now he is receiving the similar treatment from
Jeevika.
Everyone retired to their respective rooms in the resort
that was booked by Viren for their night stay as it would have been
difficult to drive back at night. Jeevika was in the washroom
changing into her night suit while Viren was sitting on the bed
waiting for her. After few minutes Jeevika came out to find the room
empty; wondering where Viren had gone now. She ignored her thought
and walked over to her side of the bed when the landline phone rang;
who could it be at this hour, thought Jeevika to herself. She picked
up the phone only to be surprised hearing the voice on the other end;
resort manager called her informing that there is a gift package for
her waiting at the reception downstairs. She hung up the phone with
confused look on her face.
Jeevika (thinking): Mere liye gift aur voh bhi yahan is waqt? Abh main….. ek to yeh Viren Ji pata nahi kahan chale gaye!
She quickly grabbed her shawl and wrapped it around herself and headed downstairs to the reception. She picked up a small gift package that had no name or message attached to it; she walked over to the side and opened the package out of curiosity. To her surprise, there was only one piece of paper in that small box which read, "ek baat hai jo dil main hai, agar de sakein deedar apna, to yeh nacheez apke intezaar main hai". She closed the letter to find a sea shell in the box which indicated sea- a beach, she thought! She slowly walked to the back of the resort heading to the small beach. The wind swayed her hair around and she held on to her shawl tightly feeling slight cold; as she made her way to the beach, her eyes scanned the area and she found track of small pebbles in a straight line as if trying to direct one in particular direction. Slowly, she followed the pebble track and reached to the farthest end of the beach where a message written on sand caught her attention; a sad face was drawn on the sand and underneath it said "I am sorry"!
Now she definitely knew who was doing all this! Her eyes searched the
figure behind all this and a sudden tap on her shoulder made her turn
around only to see HIM on his knees with a rose in his hand and smile
on his face. A teary smile formed on her face and she simply stared
at him without uttering anything; she slowly grabbed the flower from
his hand but maintained the silence. Viren took that as a positive
sign and got up to stand across her, looking into her eyes and
scanning her face. He held her face and wiped her tears with his
thumb and held her hand placing a kiss on it.
Viren: I am sorry, Jeevika (holding his ears) which made Jeevika let out a small chuckle as she nodded her head watching his tactics to apologize and pacify her.
Viren: Jeevika, main jaanta hoon ki maine tumhe bahut hurt kiya hai... I have been a complete idiot! But yeh sabh maine apni khushi se nahi kiya... Virat aur Manvi ke liye kiya...
Jeevika: Matlab?
Viren explained her everything how he picked out silly fights on purpose with a weird logic of bringing Manvi & Virat closer; Jeevika was shocked & surprised beyond anything!
Viren: Jeevika, itne dino se main jaan bhooj kar tumse ladne ka naatak kar raha tha; Tumhe bura laga lekin yakeen maano mujhe bhi bahut bura laga aur especially aaj tumhari baat sunne ke baad- i felt even more guilty. Tum jo bhi kich rahi thi mujhe manane ke liye us sabh se mujhe khushi huyi aur main hi jaanta ki maine apne aap ko kaise control kiya... par khair abh maine Virat ko keh diya hai ki uske chakar mein, main apni beewi ko naraaz nahi kar sakta aur uske pyaare se chehre par udaasi nahi dekh sakta! So aaj ke baad, hum Virat aur Manvi ki baat ko lekar jhagda nahi karenge, I promise!
Jeevika stood there unsure whether she should be angry at him for doing all this to make her angry on purpose and especially to bring Manvi closer to Virat when she clearly told him that thats not the case between those two, or be happy that his heart was in right place while doing all this- doing all this for his brother and her sister after doing what he did for her family!
Viren studied her face and her expressions that formed, and he stood there waiting for her to talk but his anxiousness took over ultimately causing him to talk again.
Viren: I know ki yeh sabh karne ke baad, meri sorry bahut choti cheez hai- tumne mujhse kitni baar maafi maangi jabki tumhari koi galti bhi nahi thi aur maine itni rudely tumhe ignore kar diya... chalo ek kaam karte hain, punishment ke taur par abh tum mujhe ignore kar sakti ho... theek hai?
Jeevika smiled to herself hearing her husband's wonderful suggestion- ofcourse with sarcasm in full effect!
Jeevika: Agar main ignore karungi to baat to vahi reh jayegi na... ignore aap karein yaan main... end main nuksaan to hum dono ka hi hai aur masla to wahin ka wahin reh jayega ki hum dono ek doosre se baat nahi kar paayenge...
Viren (smiled): Are haan yaar yeh to maine socha hi nahi... acha... main bhi tumse waise hi maafi maangta hoon jaise tumne mujhse maangi thi...
Jeevika looked at him with an questioning look noticing his face and eyes glow. He came close to her and moved her hair from her eyes that were disruping her view; Jeevika looked upto him wondering what he was upto when he carassed her cheek and placed a soft kiss on the other making her feel weak. She blushed knowing now what Viren meant by copying her way to apologize while Viren smiled seeing her turning red thinking about earlier.
Jeevika: Abh pati ji itne pyaar se maafi maangege to main to kya koi bhi maaf kardega... beewi ko naraaz karke phir aise surprises dekar manana to koi aapse seekhe
Viren: To iska matlab teacher ji ne apne student ko maaf kardiya?
Jeevika nodded smiling and Viren breathed a sigh of relief.
Viren: Mujhe guarantee chahiye kya pata phir rooth jaao... waise main to lucky ki kitne achi beewi mili hai jo ki jald maan jaati hain warna doosri beewiyan to...
Jeevika: Doosri beewiyan? Apko kaise pata doosri beewiyon ka...
Viren: Are meri teacher ji, mera voh matlab nahi tha...apke jaisi patni jiske paas ho, voh to bewkoof hi hoga ki kisi aur ko dekhe. Khair... haan... mujhe proof chahiye ki tumne mujhe maaf kardiya...
Jeevika smiled and came close to him and wrapped her shawl around him and engulfed him in a tight hug; Viren was elated at her move and held her tightly as if making up for the last few days. He whispered "I missed you!" in her ears to hear a similar reply from Jeevika who was more than happy to be in arms of her husband at this very moment.
They broke apart and looked at each other feeling content that they had made up; they slowly walked to their room while Jeevika rested her head on his shoulder and Viren held her close to him by resting his hand on her waist. Jeevika opened up the door to their room only to be surprised witnessing the room decorated with candles and rose petals. She turned around to face Viren with an questioning look.
Jeevika: Viren Ji, yeh sabh?
Viren lifted her off her feet and carried her to the bed as he whispered "Itne dino ki bharpaayi karne ke liye" making Jeevika blush like anything, who saught shelter in his chest to hide herself. He placed her down and placed another kiss on her forehead and Jeevika enjoyed every moment of this with her eyes closed. They spent the night showering love on each other and slept in others' arms after what felt like an eternity!
Next morning, they both walked out holding each others hands to join others in the bus to head back home. Manvi & Virat looked at them with a smile knowing everything worked out between them; Virat winked at Jeevika with a smirk making her blush while Manvi hugged her to save her from further embarassment. Viren sat next to Jeevika on the bus holding her hand while Jeevika rested her head on his shoulder, and Viren spoke out "Dabbu, voh shaadi wali CD bajaa naa yaar" and winked at Jeevika making her smile and blush at the same time. They completed the journey back home in each other's company, remembering their wedding rituals, as Tu Hi Tu played on the background!
