Whoa! Game changer this episode. Nothing's gonna be the same again.
First of all, take a bow GC, KS, the script writer and the BG music person (in that order). The sceptic in me couldnt find a flaw. GC was Yash.
Not wasting my time on the ancillary characters.
Yash : The guy's life as he knew it is all upside down. Not a single thing is in its place, the stuff is all strewn about, his bed is not the quiet peaceful place, his body is in pain, his Arpita is not in his life and this Aarti is responsible for everything. This Aarti, this fascinating person is not Arpita. There is a part of Yash who wanted a woman so badly and that part was aroused today by someone. Thats who he was bloody angry with. He knew he felt something for the combination of Arpita's memory and Aarti's physical form - and that is explosive. When the guy yells out you are not Arpita, she is - he is not talking to Aarti, he is talking to himself. I think for the first couple of seconds he was hurt by Aarti waking him up from the stupor. I am so glad he screamed at her. It was their moment and it is a rite of passage and that has started. They will have many such moments when they become intimate when it will feel like its their previous partner and they each have to overcome each of those moments.
Aarti was magnificent. She was the epitome of grace and empathy. Aarti was not angry and being yelled at, she was sympathetic of Yash's yearning for Arpita. She woke him up from that moment because she knew he didnt mean it for her. It was like walking into his private world. She knew he was suffering in more than one way. Her dilemma is profound, just a few minutes ago, Yash's mom stresses once more in front of the entire family that her name is Arpita and now Yash states even more vehemently, she is not Arpita.
For the first time ever, I felt bad that Yash lost Arpita, his pain of losing her was physical for him. However the beauty of the situation is, Aarti is now in his life to change Yash so his yearning is for her and her alone. She is not here to fill Arpita's void but to create her own in his life. Real good stuff this.
