Whether it be the writers of the 18th century,or 21st century, their works are a mirror to the times they lived in,or living in.And their personal lives always influence their writing;and we as readers, get a closer look into the time they had lived,or are living.

And I somehow believe that the writer of HD,is no different than others. But the question which raises in my mind is,it cannot be the society only that she is focusing on,but she herself have some serious issues regarding marriage, which unconsciously she has penned in her work.Because every writer of every era, have always been influenced by the society in which they live, and influenced by their personal lives too.And I not making any assumptions here,it is evident from the works of all poets, novelists and their biographies.

I don't intend to hurt anyone by my views, but analyzing a piece of work, whether it be a novel,or poem,or a movie,we get to feel the mood of the story and how it relates to us.We as viewers have the right to judge and criticize, and every writer has to face criticism. And the writer of HD,its creative team have to go through the same. They have to answer certain questions that their work have raised;questions regarding the sanctity of matrimony, its values and believes in the society ,and the impact of its mockery in us.The CVs of this drama should really be watching out, because they've directly,or indirectly mocked a sensible issue, and if not taken care,it might prove to be a drawback to their show, which might compel them to stop running it.And the saddest part would be,we'll miss Sumit and Rati.

Friends please give your valuable suggestions and views;will be looking forward to your replies.

If HD is a parody then what it ridicules can be tolerated - but I agree with so many others who hold the opinion that HD has beaten the "marriage" horse to death - it is time they moved on.
