Rashi's happiness - Is it so unthinkable?

This post is not to bash Rashi, so please stop reading if you intend to bash her. It is also not sarcastic although it may take a humerous tone even though I am making this topic in all sincerity to seriously discuss how to make Rashi happy in life.

What do we know about Rashi so far? She is beautiful, educated, smart, and knows how to do things. On the negative side, she is lazy, listens to her mother too much, longs for money, power and prestige, gains joy out of other people's misery, and most recently we found she gets bored if she doesn't do kalakaris (previously I thought she did it only to gain power). This is not too bad, there are plenty of women out there who live like this. To me, it seems Rashi wants to live the life of a socialite and become a real housewife of Rajkot (you know what I am talking about if you have seen the numerous real housewives shows).

We don't want to change her or redeem Rashi, because if you transform a person completely, they will never be happy. Sooner or later they will revert back to their old self any way. A good person can never truly be evil and vice versa. She should stay as she is and still get all the happiness. How do we go about it?

I feel as a Modi and as Jigarji's wife, she can never be happy. The Modi clan is too conservative and they always take the high and mighty road. They want their vahus to work like horses and they are worse than scrooge when it comes to money. On top of it all, the vahus have to be sarva guna sampanna and be sacrificial lambs for all. Poor Rashi can never be a match for them. Even her husband doesn't understand her. She lives in too much fear that he may throw her out any time. Jigarji is unambitious and too much of a gentleman. He is not into money or power to give Rashi what she pines for. I thought Rashi could star in her own reality show, but she can never do that as a Modi. So the first thing Rashi should do is try to get a divorce so she can be away from the repressed MM.

Next, we need to find a household that will value Rashi as she is and provide her what she needs in life. Currently, there is only one family where Rashi will fit. Savita behn's family. We have seen Savita behn is as rich as the Modis. She is always decked out in expensive clothes and jewelery so she likes to spend money on showing off. I don't think she is miserly so she may have more
servants/maids in her house. She and her family are into kalakaaris. Remember how her son put the glass on the thread of the kite to win in the kite competition? So Rashi will be a perfect match for that family.

May be Savita behn has a son of Rashi's age or Kurmi could do a kalakaari to get one of her sons divorced (Kurshi would enjoy another marriage breakup), so that Rashi could be married to him. Savita behn's mind seems to work on the same wave length as Rashi's. She seems to enjoy watching other people's mishappenings. Above all, she has this jealousy of Kokila ji, so she always wants to put her down. Rashi will be on top of the world in Savita behn's house. They both can plan kalakaaris on Modis for kicks. Since Rashi will be living next door, she could let their rabbits loose in the Modi yard whenever she is bored.

I truly believe Rashi will come to love her new husband who will appreciate the real Rashi and will be happy because Rashi will make his mother happy too. Savita behn will prefer Rashi's company to all her other bahus since she will find her soul mate in Rashi. Savita behn will make sure Rashi has all the power and prestige in the society and security, respect and preference in Savita behn's family that she yearns for. Rashi also wouldn't need Kurmi since Savita behn will be with her all the time guiding her and correcting her to be kalakaar # 1. There will be no need for Rashi's redemption; she can be true to her real self.
Now please don't laugh. I have thought long and hard over this and feel I am offering a good plan for Rashi behn's true happiness.

If Urshi had consulted me, I would have shown them the right way. Alas...
I think this will make SNS so much more interesting. The CV's could continue with their beloved kalakaaris and still give us uninterrupted Gohem romance. Sashi (savita+rashi) could just have competitions and their fun with other housewives of Rajkot including Kokilaji once in a while. The perfect scenario, no?

Aris that was brilliant! 👍🏼

You have it spot on. Rashi will actually never ever be happy in MM. But in SB's house she will be as happy as a pig in mud!

LMAO!🤣

In other words, Rashi is a perfect fit for Savitaben's clan. I completely agree with that. The problem Rashi faces at the MM House is that no one is evil as she is and that's why she feels like the oddball that's trying to assert herself. At the "new" house, she'll have Savita for company. Plus both of them have one goal in life--to make Koki miserable.
