Ahem is fighting a battle between his heart and mind.

He felt that he was gaining control of himself and his situation when the whole family met the family business associate. His heart did tug when Gopi was introduced as his wife. He naturally magnetically acknowledged this by his look at her.

He was astounded by the escalating events having seen the bride's name on the card. He dug deep in his mind pondering whether it was Anita or not. He was found sitting frozen in the lounge. When asked he gave his excuses that he was thinking about a business matter. He further tried to excuse himself from attending the wedding when asked to do so saying he had an important meeting.

He continued searching in his mind whether the bride of this wedding and Anita were the same. Gopi found him in this vexed state. When she called out his name he once again naturally magnetically acknowledged her. Yet he snapped back at her when she asked him whether he was ok. He did not want to show anybody, especially her what he was going through inside. After she relayed her message and was walking away he realised what he did, called out her name to stop her, walked up and apologised to her, in a gentle pleasant voice.

Ahem is handling his situation in the best way he can. He is certainly not displaying any emotions to his family. Yes, he is clamming up in their presence and giving work excuses for his behaviour. Yes, he is hurting inside except he is not showing it nor admitting it. Him tearing up and throwing away the photo earlier was a positive sign of wanting to have nothing to do with Anita.

Ahem's turmoil between his heart which is linked directly to Gopi and his mind that once ruled his ego, now is working out the meaning of Anita's reappearance and her pending marriage. He left her earlier seeing her happy and have moved on in her life. Now it could possibly be her marrying their family business associate.

For now, this battle is raging. Which will stay and which will go?

Perfect analysis Swasthi.

I Know we have already discussed this, but I am sure Ahem has no feelings left for Anita. His heart only belongs to Gopi and the last expression on his face said it all.

He knows Anita is getting married, but he does not know the Anita in the invitation card is the same Anita that was his ex and this is what has him in state of confusion. He has moved on, but if Anita is marrying their business associate's son then that is something he would want to ponder on.

I have a feeling that when Anita's marriage breaks it won't be Ahem being pulled towards her but Anita will try to win him back and fail miserably.

We have some interesting days coming our way with misunderstandings and kalakari's but in the end Ahem will acknowledge the fact that Gopi is his true Saathiya to everyone.

i think ahem's tendency to not share his grief and fears with gopi is going to get him in serious trouble..raashi will surely use this to her advantage...but it hopefully will be for the best...with loads of tears from gopi unfortunately...

lovely analysis swasthi...ahems heart belongs to gopi even if he doesnt realise it...just hope he talks to gopi about the situation...but it looks like gopi is going to be a direct witness to ahems reaction to anitha...raashi is all set to create havoc and poor gopi and ahem are going to suffer the most...

Lovely analysis swasthi , ahems heart really does belong to gopi which was clearly seen in the last scene of the epi , his eyes was full of love although she wasn't to impressed wud him u can see he won't even allow his harsh words to hurt , he will definitely do everything in his power to shield her from his past . After looking at the precap somehow I don't feel ahem looks at anita the same loving way he looks at Gopi so before long he will have a clear mind on how to handle his past but it may be too late as Gopi being taunted by urshi decides to walk out . Thanks for the great insight

Awesome analysis swasthi! Aham has no doubts in his mind about anita. She belongs in his past and he would have been quite happy if she stayed there. However, life has thrown him a curve ball just when he least expected it. He will deal with it and move on with his life and his love.

Gorgeously written and brilliantly insightful as always!i loved every bit of it and just what i needed to read!haven't seen the episode and don't plan on doing so.i'm emotionally attached gohem,just can't bare to see them suffer,so i'm just going to read the WU.thank you for writing this...much-needed piece!
