The point that he deserves it gets overshadowed in light of such stuff. If this is to be believed then clearly he didn't get it simply because he ''deserved'' it.

The Premier I was talking about the other day can also say that s/he deserved those Ivy League honorary doctorate degrees, as s/he was an undergrad from the toppest university of his/her country. But, the reality is s/he bought those (& will continue buying) by donating money to the university that honored him/her.  😆
