Soaps answered that the house had two doors, and family was moved out... And thats why in that episode, after the fire started, they never showed the family inside... Second do you really think our police and justice system is so strong to take an action... leave the fact that Viraj is powerful on small city of Manali, there are many cases where police does not register a case unless media intervenes... Moreover the complaint was not made by Jhanvi, it was done by Komolika Rana... And it was not a written complaint because in the episode Viraj said "that as soon as Komolika CALLED the cops"...But you rightly said there is no point arguing... because you do not want to accept the reality... There are lakhs of pending cases in court... Many criminals are roaming scott free and some of them sitting in parliament (if you read about recent UP elections). There are so many incidents where police do not register a compliant for the simple reason that if they register a crime, the crime rate in their area will increase, and will affect their dossier and track record... (small incident at Mumbai- recently a girl was in news when she went to police station to launch a complaint of mobile theft, the cop on duty refused her... and on insisting that he will do a missing case only... when matter got exalted he manhandled and threatened the girl and his male friend.. only after media intervened, an inquiry was set up)... How many times NGO's and media have to step in to ensure police registers a case... Am sure you have not been to a police station ever to register a complaint or have been entangled into the vicious legal process... 1984 riots victims are still awaiting justice... the main convicts of Bhopal Gas Tragedy is still at large, and our give has failed to extradite them... Read the cases of crime against women (molestation, eve teasing, rape), even at National Capital Delhi, especially North Eastern girls, police refuse to take their complaints... I humbly suggest you to read the news in details and analyze it... Truth is not at all flowery...
