So what was different? This wasn't the first time relationship of two sisters was the basic crux of the show, viewers saw many similar shows, but the difference was the love that was depicted between the sisters. Both had to struggle in life even though they went through different phases. Sadhana was beautiful and fair, whereas Ragini was Dark in complexion because of which Sadhana's beauty always displeased Ragini's mother, Kaushalya. She feared this might affect her daughter's future, however the distance between Sadhna and Kaushalya did not affect the relationship of the sisters. Sadhana always craved for her Aunt's love and Ragini always had inferiority complex regarding her looks, but she never envied her little sister. This was what was different and the usp of the show. It gave competition to the long running shows which were at peak during that period of time and made a race to climb up the "trp" Charts and acquire the top most position.

Another aspect to this show that added to its beauty was the way it was presented, be it the cameos or the other characters or the male leads of the show, Alekh & Ranvir. They all had a specific characteristic and were carved beautifully and loved by the masses. The lead Pair, Alekh-Sadhana's & Ranvir-Ragini's love story created new heights. The fans of these two pairs loved them immensely. There were many highpoints in the show, but the most saddening and shocking was when Sadhana breathed her last giving her daughter's responsibility to Ragini, viewers were shocked, left in tears. After the exit of Sadhna's character, Bidaai came with another shock with Ranvir's accident. However, the show sustained a decent rating with the entrance of Apurva Agnihotri as Anmol and Sulagna Panigrahi as Sakshi opposite Ragini and Alekh.

Bidaai ended on a beautiful note with Anmol & Ragini, and Alekh & Sakshi living happily ever after, but fans still continue to cherish it, in fact there are groups and pages on social networking sites, which still continue to discuss their favorite show till date and are hoping to see season 2 with the lead pairs. No wonder Rajan Shahi's Debut Venture, which had many landmarks and path breaking records, is still missed by the masses.
