Plot

Akshay Kumar plays the role of a police officer and a small-time crook

Rowdy Rathore (Akshay kumar) is a small-time thief and crook who is crazy about acts of daredevilry. He falls in love with Neeraja (Sonakshi Sinha). One day, he gets the shock of his life when a young girl turns up and claims him to be her father. After recovering from the stunning blow, he slowly starts to find out the truth behind the claim. It turns out that the girl is the daughter of IPS Vikram Singh Rathore(Akshay kumar). He is on the run from the notorious Chambal dacoits. He hides himself in Hyderabad. But after getting hit in the head and getting stabbed a couple of times,Vikram Singh Rathore dies in front of Rowdy Rathore.

Rowdy Rathore now goes to the Chambal valley and settles the score on behalf of the dead Rathore.

the bit about a young girl telling him (Akki) that he's her father reminded me of "Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai"

yes. its very entertaining and i know the full story. kyunki mein telugu movie dekh chuki hu😆.

^^yep...i heard it's a fullon masala entertainer and Akki is the most suitable actor for Ravi Teja's role .
