It all started with a sensuous promo of Punarvivaah where actress Kratika Sengar gets locked in a bathroom with a bare-chested Gurmeet Chaudhary who then moves dangerously close to her while letting open the latch. The promo became an instant hit. So when a special dance sequence was being planned for the strikingly attractive Punarvivaah couple in the Holi special episode of Zee TV's primetime show Hitler Didi, it was the director's vision to make Gurmeet and Kratika further explore their fantastic chemistry where the two play Holi and dance in mud.

However, it was very interesting to note that the usually sporting Gurmeet who peels off his shirt without the slightest qualms refused to take off his shirt completely. What made this hunk who loves flaunting his hard-earned 6 pack stop short at just wearing an open shirt instead of going entirely shirtless, you ask? Sources reveal that the actor had been hearing a lot of talk about his hot chemistry with Kratika ever since the "bathroom" promo went on air and did not want to further fuel the loose talks. Madly in love with wife Debina and sensitive to her feelings, he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable even for a moment. Sweet? Well, shirt or no shirt, Gurmeet ... the act has turned out to be one helluva romp in the mud. With the creative team using only multani mitti to avoid getting the actors conscious about their skin or worrying about rashes, Gurmeet and Kratika have delivered a no-holds-barred "mud dance" a la Akshay-Kumar and Rekha from Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Zee TV to air Hitler Didi Holi special episode on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 8 PM.

Frankly, I think no shirt at all would have been a bit too much for that sequence anyway. It would have looked like they were trying to hard and I would have felt like cringing and shutting my innocent eyes. 😳😆

I like that there was a little mystery behind the yellow shirt. 😉 And there is a lot of underestimated charm about clothes getting wet and sticking to the body in a rain sequence. ☺️

All this being said, I wish the media would leave the poor child out of their sensationalism! 😡

The media just loves firing all these things way out of proportion, and Gurmeet's personal life has been no exception 😕

Either way it was a HOT HOT HOT segment just the way it was, and I absolutely LOVED the yellow shirt, it coordinated really well with Aarti's outfit and created a very pleasing effect 😉 I honestly don't think I would have liked the sequence had he been shirtless, I mean the scenario really didn't ask for him to take his shirt off, unlike the bathroom promo, so whatever the reason may be, hail the yellow shirt! 🤣 And really if that dance sequence didn't scream chemistry (wayyy more than the bathroom promo) then I really don't know what will!

Oh, and for this "reason" being the cause of romantic hindrance later on in the show is utter BS! Gurmeet is a complete professional, and he will do whatever it takes to give his show his 110%! This is ultimately a romance centered drama, and GC knew that before he took on the role of Yash, and he knew for it to appeal to the audience, he needed to create sizzling chemistry with Kratika. In fact both GC and KS have commented that their chemistry has come through really well and they're really happy about that, so even more reason not to buy into the bogus excuse written in the article!

believe me there is nothing of this sort and this article was released by the channel for publicity...these sort of things are done by channels...i am sure the shirt was never meant to be taken off...the Holi dance was damn hot.and frankly, the makers wouldn't hv made him take the shirt off, i think that would be too much as zee is a family chanel, mainly watched by family audience, lets not take all articles at their face value...believe me this is for publicity only.

I am 100% sure that this is a publicity ploy by the channel/makers becoz Gurmeet has already faced this before.i seriously hope, makers stop publicizing their show at the cost of his personal life...if he ever had any problem, he would neither hv done the shirtless promo, nor the Holi dance...

hope this could be publicity stunt as u said 😊 ... b/w i like the way guru respected debi's feelings ... i only bother this couldn't be a barrier ... coz i read the article KTLK whr monish quits due to not wanting to bond chemistry with krithika😉 ... ihope this doesn't happen with our PV ...lol..i am thinking way too much coz i madly like AarYa 😆😃
