Why kagdi told lie?

Kagdi always gives long lectures to gopi not to tell lies as she can't tolerate people who lie.
Then why is she lying to the whole family about ahem not going to office because he is not well. Why the things that she tells others don't apply to herself?

Yah I think because it's her, and she does make the rules, as someone said already, she can lie herself, which is not good.

If she had told the truth, the whole family would have been against her.

That's why i don't like her because she finds faults in others but can't see the same in herself😡
