hi i used to watch bv when anandi and jagya were small but then i quit it for sometimes. i just recently started watching from april 2011. can some1 tell me how is basant related to tausa and what happened btw them? thnx

Tausa is Basant's real father. Tausa n Basant were both unaware of this till last year. Basant's mom had died at childbirth and given her newborn to Kalyani and made her promise to not tell anyone about it.

When Mahavir (tausa) started making a lot of trouble for Kalyani and her sons, and was hell bent on destroying their reputation n their property - then Kalyani had to spill the beans.

Mahavir had to goto jail for a lot of the stuff he did, but after jailterm, he spent some time at Kalyani's Haveli and was quite remorseful and finally left for his own home after he developed good relations with everybody includig his blood son Basant.
