Introduction of the Vyas family. Megha has two kids: Nanhi (Navika) & Addu (Aditya). She is a widow & living with her in-laws after the death of her husband.
Family: Ved Kant Vyas is head of the family, father of Sanjay & Amar (dead), Brother of Jiji & husband of saroj. Renu is sanjay's wife. Sanjay & Renu have a son, Tanu.
It's Addu's birthday & he wants a wooden bat so that he can play with the cricket team. But Megha doesn't have enough money to buy it. Nanhi understands it but addu is too young to understand it. Addu desperately searches for new bat as he has a firm belief that his mom will get it. The first episode establishes that whenever nanhi asks a wish by tying a knot of her mummy's pallu, it's always get fulfilled. Addu finds the bat (birthday gift). Megha got the clue that it's done by her FIL. Everyone taunts megha because of her husband. Megha & jiji takes nanhi & addu to temple to take blessings. The priest also indirectly alludes to the wrong done by megha's husband. She gets said & nanhi prays to send someone to help them & to bring smile on her mummy's face.
Mohan enters as nanhi prays.
Mohan is chasing a girl & megha stops him. They fight on the issue.
We get more information about Megha & her hubby. She was captain of her team in college. Her husband was an engineer who died in a flyover collapse & now is accused of corrupt practices & using cheap material in construction due which accident happened killing 24 others.
Renu & jiji were watching tv serial & nanhi was doing her home work. (Lol now comes the influence of tv on children). In the serial a guy wants to marry a widow & after some drama & clichd dialogues puts in sindoor in the mang of the widow. Jiji feels glad seeing this. Nanhi observes all this.
In the school children tease nanhi on her father's issue.
Tanu & renu want to sell the old, useless bike & they succeed in pursuing Sanjay for it.
Mohan comes with guru (mohan's servant) to the mohalla to see the house. They agree to live on rent. So Megha becomes mohan's padosan.
Megha get a notice for her late husband's case. She leaves with her FIL & meets mohan once again on the road. Deenanath, the builder is introduced. Everyone thinks that he is good man but Megha & her FIL try to prove that Amar was innocent but they have no evidence. On the other hand Mohan wants to expose Deenanath & his corrupt practices.
Nanhi comes to newspaper office with Tanu who wants to give the ad of the sale of old bike. From the conversation Nanhi gets the idea of giving the ad of her mother's marriage. Guy in the AD dept. refuses to accept the ad & aks nanhi to leave. Mohan meets nanhi in the elevator. He couldn't control himself the reason of her crying. Nanhi tells him the problem & Mohan is wondering how such a small child can think so much. He helps nanhi & the guy accepts the ad but mohan doesn't know that it's matrimonial ad.
Mohan argues with addu & calls him piddi. He thinks that the kid has thrown the wrapper of ice-cream on the road but later finds that he was wrongly scolding the kid. Addu gets angry & says that he'll his mother & come back. Addu complains to megha. In the morning mohan is startled to find that the kid is mirchi madam's son but manages to escape. But his bad impression on his family continues as dadaji finds him with a bottle of alcohol in the park. The newspaper ad creates dhamaka in megha's life.
Megha finds pieces of paper under nanhi's desk & gets to know that she gave such an ad. She scolds nanhi for it & asks her who helped her in this. Nanhi takes him to mohan. Megha & Mohan confrontation takes place. Mohan gets to know that the ad was for her marriage. Vyas family starts getting calls for megha's marriage. Megha promises her FIL never to leave vyas family.
Mohan realizes his mistake & advices nanhi to say sorry to her mom. Bonding starts between nanhi & mohan. It's also revealed that Jiji is also a widow. She empathizes with megha. Megha doesn't forgive nanhi. Mohan watches megha on terrace & feels guilty. Guru advices mohan to do the same what he has told nanhi.
A person comes to take the bike & vyas family think that he's talking about marriage. Confusion gets over. A man in the markets tries to misbehave with Megha. Mohan interferes & tries to say sorry to megha but she refuses to forgive him. Sanjay's boss sees the ad & wants to come to his house for a dinner.
Boss reveals his true intention to marry megha. Entire family is troubled. Ved asks sanjay's boss to leave. Mohan comes with a girl & Megha sees it. The girl is drunk. She is koyal. Mohan wants to get the information from her regarding Denanath.
Mohan is dropping the girl to her place & Megha catches them together. Another funny encounter of Mohan-Megha takes place. Boss insists megha to come for a coffee & there he such thing that offend megha. She goes away taunting him. Nanhi comes to Mohan's home as both of them failed to get forgiveness from megha. So Mohan suggests to present some flowers to her mother. He goes with nanhi to purchase flowers. When they come back Megha catches nanhi with mohan & slaps her. Mohan feels sad for nanhi.
Megha sees the flowers & card which nanhi brought for her to say sorry & feels bad. She decides to say sorry to nanhi. Nanhi goes to school without talking to megha. Sanjay is troubled as his boss is taking revenge of whatever happened. He's humiliated by everyone in the office. At school children tease nanhi about her new father. She goes away from the school. Nanhi doesn't reach home. Megha gets worried.
Megha tries to find nanhi & goes to school but in vain. She goes to mohan's house in search of nanhi. Another mohan-megha encounter takes place. Later Mohan feels sad & decides to help megha. FIL & megha search for nanhi. Tanu's friends takes him for a movie. Sanjay reaches home drunk.
Megha reaches police station to register an FIR & finds mohan who is already nanhi's case with the inspector. They give the information to the inspector. Mohan gets a call that koyal is there with the evidence. He sees megha on the roadside giving up the battle. He decided to help megha. Both search for nanhi.
Megha recalls the picnic spot where nanhi used to go with her father. Both reach there & megha finds nanhi's tiffin box & gets impatient. She thinks that nanhi has gone from there to some other place & wants to search elsewhere. Mohan insists searching in the park thoroughly. Finally mohan finds nanhi. First Megha show love to nanhi & then starts scolding for running away. Mohan interferes & another argument between Meghan takes place. In anger Mohan leaves nanhi with Megha in the park but forgets nanhi's bag on his shoulders & take it away with him. 😆 Guru makes fun of mohan when he sees this.
Mohan feels guilty that he left megha & nanhi in the park at the night. Vyas family rejoice over the return of nanhi. Tanu takes all the credit of Mohan's efforts. Mohallawas gear up for Sankranti celebrations. Mohan & megha decided to say sorry & thank you but na bole tum na maine kuch kaha.😆
