Ria's pregnancy issue is totally personal matter of husband and wife , why is her hubby forcing and wants to reveal it toMrs Kaushik and dozens of family members ???
I mean if Ria doesn't want to reveal it and not ready for pregnancy, that's totally her decision, why is her hubby forcing her to keep the baby and make issue in front of family ???

Yes, this is an Indian serial and it should be with the Indian culture where the
DIL should tell about the pregnancy to the in-laws. She cannot abort the pregnancy
without their consent. This is the only reason why our marraiges last for ever.

Regardless of the culture, I think abortion is a very touchy and sensitive issue. It can evoke and raise emotions a lot and should be dealt with care.

I am an Indian and live in the US. It is very sad to see how abortion is so casually treated in most Indian serials and movies.

While I understand that pregnancy is Ria-Adi's personal issue, it is important for Ria to reveal it to Adi. Remember that Ria was HIDING it even from her husband in the beginning. I mean how can she just schedule an abortion appointment without discussing it first with her husband. This is especially RIDICULOUS since Ria is shown to have been educated in London.

If Ria didn't want a child, it was her duty or responsibility to have taken precautions in the first place. Even though as a woman I understand that it is Ria's body and her life, I'm amazed that her character is ready to abort a life just because she doesn't want a baby or feels she is not ready for it.

In summary, I strongly feel that abortion is an extremely sensitive and touchy topic and I'm amazed as to with how much insensitivity the same is shown in our serials.

CVs and story writers need to grow up.

If she was not ready for baby then she should have taken precautions. but to abort a baby just the reason for that she is not ready then it is such childish statement because u dont have to take anyones life.
