Okay, for starters, I LOVED the episode. Like, ALL of it. Whether it be Nilesh peeping into Nicole's room with Simmi making bahanas for his weirdness to ogling passers-by, hahahahahahahaa...or Vicky and Neha so lost in their look-look they don't even realise when Swayam asks them a question and leaves...and even Rey and Kriya squabbling in the BB court. ALL of it came together so well for me, that it just really worked, as an episode. 😊
I also loved how the gang worked Sharon tonight...hahahahaa...smart-alecks, sab ke sab. They know they'll need more than just a plea for help, so it's a plea for help with a twisty approach. And boy does it work. And well, why wouldn't it? Where they think they're making Sharon give in to what they want from her, little does any of them realise that Sharon gives in because this is what she wants too. Swayam can't leave. He can't. I saw that written all over her face in all the close-up shots, and the bits where she's sitting alone in the rehearsal hall wondering where on earth everyone's disappeared. Once again, Sneha Kapoor, you do me proud as a fan. Touchwood. 😃
And who else doess me proud? Shantanu Maheshwari. The way he kept lapsing into silence in mid-sentence while trying to tell Rey and Kriya why he's leaving...it just said it all, for me. Without him having to say anything at all. It's hurting him so deep, he can't deal with it any more. And this is the only way out, as far as he can see...here's hoping Sharon shows him another, whatever it may be.
Which then brings me to the scene I loved most tonight. The little SwaRon moment in the rehearsal hall. I actually got the feeling that he was there to say goodbye to her too. He asked for Rey and Kriya, sure...but his eyes...well, let me not go there, or I'll probably be at it for the rest of the night, lol. But yes, his eyes...and when they meet her eyes, it's just something else altogether. That's just it with these two...they don't need dialogues, most of the time. Their silences do all the talking. I LOVED the way Swayam reacted when he saw Shivam's name flashing on the phone. And if there was anything I loved more than that here, it was Sharon's reaction...she looked almost like she'd begin explaining! But he didn't give her a chance to speak, and I felt she understood why. That whole section when he comes back to pick up his book and goes away while Sharon's still struggling to form words...I personally thought that was a brilliant piece of editing, and of course, Shantanu and Sneha's expressions and timing were absolutely perfect. 👏
So yes, all in all, I LOVED tonight's episode. THANK YOU CVs, for continuing such good work. AWESOME to see the whole gang working together! REALLY nice! 😃
