Today's episode was confusing to say the least..Anant Babua is acting weird since his words and his actions are not coinciding anymore..I really hope the CVs are not as sadistic as to push a wedding full of misunderstandings and deep held grudges down our throats..🤢
No pouting, no whining, only pondering: Anant has overheard Amar's side of the conversation and of course, true to desi show style, failed to hear the part where Navya sang his praises..Poor thing looked crestfallen to say the least as he pondered over the whole conversation in his head..I loved the fact that he didn't act cranky in front of Amar and was polite through out..In the car Navya notices Anant's somber demeanor and immediately brushes it off as wedding jitters..I really wished for the umpteenth time for these two to talk the whole issue out..But much to my disappointment, Anant once again chose to keep all his question, all his insecurities hidden, and instead hugged Navya tight and bid her adieu with an ILU..At this point I was both happy and sad..Happy that at least he didn't act rude with her for the whole Amar Sir issue and sad, because to me, it looked like he was trying to convince her to go through with this wedding by reassuring her of his love.. It looked to me like he was not too sure about his place in Navya's life after all..His insecurity is still getting the best out of him, so much so that he is actually scared about Navya choosing work over him..I know a lot of people are celebrating because Amar's stint in this show is most likely coming to an end, but beware that Anant's insecurity issues aren't going to vanish with Amar's exit..This problem ain't going away unless AnYa sit down and talk it through..🤓
Confusion hi Confusion hai Solution kuch patah nahin: I was really happy when I saw Anant was going to ask Navya whether she wants to continue working in the "coming up" segment after the first break..But the actual scene has left me befuddled to say the least..Navya seems to be quite okay with quitting work because she knew this was going to happen once she gets married..But Anant's dilemma has just got worse thanks to Ranbir's idiotic remark about Navya loving her work more than Anant..Poodlebir, I didn't expect this of you, you know your friend is as sensitive as a 13 year old girl and talking like this ain't going to help anyone!😳 I know Ranbir said it jokingly but Anant who is already feeling pretty miserable took the comment in the wrong stride..And for this very reason, his question to Navya about whether or not she wants to work has left me in a dilemma on my own..Now I am left thinking whether he actually wants to let her work or is he simply trying to find out her priorities? Is he just trying to confirm his worst fears of Navya choosing work over him? As usual, instead of talking about her true desires Navya devi brushed his question aside and told him what she wants doesn't matter anymore...Thing are getting quite murky here people, this misunderstanding is not dissipating any time soon..😵
Let the rasams commence: The much awaited wedding is finally here and the festivities have started with "Mama Bhaat"..Err don't pounce on me for saying this but the CVs don't seem to going all out for the wedding as far as expenditure is concerned..Only the usual family members were present in both the households sparing Anant's mam-maami and Navya's mama-mami who are yet to arrive..I really hope the kanjoos CVs at least spend some money to put up decent sets, costumes, and have quite a few extras so that it looks like a wedding and not another family gathering..😆😆 Moving on, it is beyond me why Navya devi has to go to work, and train a newbie while her wedding is less than two weeks away..Don't get me wrong, I am all for her working after the marriage but that doesn't mean she shouldn't take a few days off for her own wedding..😕 BTW anyone who thought Amar Sir had feelings for Navya should realize they are wrong just by looking at how Amar behaved like a true professional and didn't probe much on her decision to quit..Now, how can the episode finish without a few taunts from our lovely Boo-Ah-Daadi..She calls up Meeta and hears about Navya going to office..Then true to her caustuc self, she comes back and makes a big hoopla about how the rasam hasn't started at the Mishras since Navya is still at work..Oh come on you old hag, why are you conveniently forgetting the fact that Navya's mama-mami are yet to arrive?😡 On to the precap, it was scary as hell, but I still think we should wait until tomorrow to react on it..
Random Musings:
1)The wedding is happening for sure, what is left to be seen is whether or not Anant will be happy or a cranky groom..If we go by SP tradition then toh Anant will brood his way through the wedding because otherwise, the age old SP tradition of dulha-dulhan sleeping separately won't be fulfilled..😆
2) Why does Mohan get a better Kurta than Anant Babua for the mama bhaat rasam? 🤔
3) Please please please CVs, spend a few bucks and put forth a spectacular wedding..Take lessons from your contemporaries if you must, but please, don't give us a cheap wedding..
