Sonu Nigam biased - Page 2

Jealous? No. Partial? Most definately. SOnu has been partial since II1, in II1 it was ALL about Rahul Vaidya & to a lesser extent Prajakta Shukre. Farah is THE most partial. Her favourites are Anuj, Panna & Sandeep. Enough said. Her last nights comments were more than enough to prove my point. Anu is somewhat in the middle.

Sonu Nigam is Sonu Nigam. And this is not just a bland statement. The name entails today's top singer, who has carved an indelible place in the hearts of miilions. His niche in the industry cant be affected no matter how many Ameys and Rahuls come up. Yes granted Amey is very talented and will go a long way in life...but Sonu will remain adulated and deservingly so. To call the most neutral, the most knowledgable and the most experienced judge on the show biased is...so un-cool.

sonu is not jealous of amey. i thnk the only reason he compaed amey with karu was bcoz he wanted karu 2 get votes. he kn ows that with amey's popularity he will get votes anyways, the only was karu cud get votes was by comparision. i think the judges had pre decided that they somehow wanted karu 2 be safe thats why they kept comparing him with others.

if u rem in the piano rnd wen amey was the 3rd how much upset sonu got. common hes surely not jealous of amey.

why will sonu be jealous of amey.abhijeeth sawanth came did he by any means spoil th ereputation of sonu.so sonu being jealous is not the point.u people have become so obsessed with amey that ,u dont want to know the truth.even if amey sings ok ,u will vote him for top position.i diont understand this at all.AMEY AND KARUNYA are great singers.amey has romantic voice,where karu has josh filled voice.so i like the two singers equally.now u ppl dont excited and create false rumours about sonu.plzzzz.

If he gets the popularity tomo he might be the challenging talent for him. There was no need to compare Amey with Karunya. I agree to the fact that Karunya is a fantastic singer. But can he sing 'laaga chunari...' like Amey? I doubt it. Amey has been singing consistently. When Karunya sang besura then Sonu agreed with the fact but still why didn't he compare with Amey that time? Does he wants Amey to be out of the show....Amey was superb yesterday,definitely better than Karunya's song. I'm not saying this b'coz I'm a supporter of Amey. I don;t have much knowledge in classical music but I'm not deaf either. What's happening with these judges? Why are they so biased to their favourite contestants? so sad and pathetic. Grow up !!!!

i totally agree with u!!i hav bin sayin this for a long time but it felt like it was jus me!!! im so glad i found a frend lol!!!

its sooo tru!!im from uk n everyone i no think the same to!!!!i really do feel that sonu cud b scared of amey because his voice quality is very suitable to all heros!!!

i jus hope him bein like this wont stop frm becomin indian idolr atleast in the top 2!!!!!!!!!

sonu is not biased. farah is biased. her judgment yesterday was too much. god knows what she is thinking whn she praises sandeep and anuj. anuj is at least okay. but sandeep?
how can she say antaras song is like nursury rhymes. let her try and sing that song. something is wrong with that woman. hope karunya and amey and antra be safe. karunya and amey are fantastic singers i cant judge between them. people do vote for the best.

this is getting sillier than ever dont u think? you're saying karunya cannot sing laga chunari. So you think Amey can sing all the songs that karunya sang... karunya's potential is way different when compared to Amey. Being classically trained, they can sing any kind of songs. I guess if you're more open to it, you will be able to realise and accept the fact that Amey is talented, but he surely has sung much better than he did yesterday and last week. i was disappointed with the RDB performance. yesterday he surely was better, but he has done much better. Karunya on the other hand has been consistent and we all know that.

And to think Sonu is Jealous of Amey.. LMAO!! 😆 😆 for someone who is as established as sonu to be jealous of a new comer.. yes right. If that was the case, he wouldnt be there judging II2 in the first place. time for u to grow up now!!

I dont think Sonu is partial.Firstly coz he is very judgemental and critical of everyone.The contestants need a check everytime they get carried away with sudden attention and adulation.Sonu just does that.He insists on singing first and has high expectations from Karunya and Amey.

He like Karunya better, which is his personal choice and he is entitled to have one!But I think he also bashed Karunya when he sang chak de...its not like he never praised Amey...I think he just wants them to do better....its constructive...

and Jealousy...oh puuuuuulllllllllleeeezzzeee.... Sonu doesnt have to be jealous of any 'struggling' singers.He has been thro it all...he is most sought after singer on date....he is value addition to any composition.He achieved it all thro lot of hardwork. He has no reason to be insecure and thereby jealous...

I totally disagree that Amey is a threat to Sonu.. C'mon now that is a joke. All these guys on II1 and II2 have a long long way to go before they can even be compared to Sonu. I am an Amey fan. Yesterday both their performnaces were very good. Karunya always sings well when singing Sukhwinder/Fateh kind of songs.. He outdid himself last night.. that is my opinion and I totally agree with Sonu.
But what I disagree with Sonu is that even though he praises Amey it never comes across well.. it is always rukhs sukha.. Amey sang a song sung by 5 singers and he did extremely well in the overlapping bits.. If u have watched SRGMP and other shows, you will realise what a kachra the others have made of this song.. Yesterday he sang well and performed the best, yet he was compared to Karunya which was not necessary. When Anu compared to Sandeep I felt bad for Sandeep as that was uncalled for. the judges have to only comment on each performance and not compare each against the previous ones!
I always feel bad for Amey as after every mind blowing performance he awaits with so much hope in his eyes, but none of the 3 give him flying colours.. be it his laga chunari mein or suno na or tadap tadap.. Anu has his fav in Antara, Sonu has his fav in karunya and Farah has hers in Anuj.. I feel so bad that a talented, sensitive and shy guy like Amey never gets excessive praise like others but any little ghalthi is quickly pointed out!
But there is no way Amey can be compared to Sonu and no way is he a threat to Sonu.. And of all the judges, Sonu is the most honest of the lot.. But he should be a bit more open in praising Amey even if he is not his fav.

But yes he doesnt prasie amey openly esp during laaga chunri---laaga chunri was one of the best ever performances on the II stage n all tht sonu said was 'behtareen gaaya' now compare tht to wat he told karu in the shaaadi gala....

IM not blaming KArunya for this....karunya deserved the praise n he got it----but sonu does hold back on his praise 4 amey which amey deserves
