I caught today's episode in fast forward mode..no I am so not going to watch the emotional atyachar being meted out in the form of torturing Mishras and ofcourse taunting Navya..we have other shows for that. Infact one such show comes on colors everyday at 10:00 pm.
Where did the feel good factor go away from this show?! Did the director's change? Did the CVs change? Less said about the so called romantic encounter, the better!
I mean it came and went..!
Apparently from some of the posts I gather Shaheer may or may not be single..(dont know, dont care) but then why is he an actor if he is going to be awkward in romantic scenes..he might as well stay behind the camera..(and I gather he does a pretty good job there clicking photos). But then his droolsome persona will go waste na..😉
Coming to Somya..i think she is such novice right now..that I dont want to comment too much..but then did she not know what she was signing up for..I mean a love story without love..HUH?!
Anyhow..I understand lot of hardwork goes in making a show..but please it has to be convincing to be a successful one and to attract viewers..this show had that at one point of time...question is where did it all go..sigh..
On another note: Rishta.com was too good! But then they scrapped off the second season...which makes me think...that maybe just maybe..they all finally have to succumb to the demands, thinking, likes/dislikes of majority of audience who are still not ready for a nayi soch...! There were some shows that ran for 8 years where generations to generations Baa was still alive..and audience loved it...have we really moved on since then..I doubt..?!
In the new promo..Anant's aar ya paar makes me a bit apprehensive on the direction the story is going, and hence maintain my stand, shaadi aint happening anytime soon...there is going to be a big separation to the extent that whole Mishra family may move to Kanpur which means Anant will not be able to meet Navya...remember college is also gonna be over. In the interim both will mature, yearn for each other...and will fall in love all over again...! 😊 If that is where this is heading..I rather have all these scenes in supersonic speed..! Maybe just maybe that is when it will be magical once more...ohhh..and here goes my mind to a land of sappy love stories...(psstt: I was writing this post and just then Serendipity was coming on HBO...😳..so I had to edit my post to mention how distance can create something magical!..)
Another point that zoomed pass my mind...
I liked Anant's whispering into Navya's ears...dont be afraid we are engaged to be married..I kinda liked that portrayal..it was as if Anant was saying...there will be some battles that you will have to fight..but I will be right next to you...just like wind beneath your wings..(phrase taken from Bette Midler song...:)). Ofcourse the very next minute he started looking at Nimi...and I was like lo karlo baat...😡..Anant showing his weakness again...But come to think of it..I think CV's wanted to portray the above feeling that I got...but it was just poor execution...aah well...random thought..may be I was trying to find some positivity...
