The Vampire Diaries Written Update
Season 3, Episode 4: The Reckoning.
Elena is at the school due to a Prank Night the students are planning. There, she finds herself face to face with Klaus who drags her to the gymnasium. He compels 2 humans and tells everyone else to leave.
While driving, Katherine and Damon end up kissing but it doesn't last long. Damon pushes her away.
Stefan wakes up and demands to know where Elena is after Rebecca tells him that Klaus knows Elena is alive.
Later, Damon stops driving and demands for Kat to tell him everything. She takes out Elena's necklace and reveals that Klaus wants the necklace. And then she opens the trunk where Jeremy lays. He wakes up while they talk about Anna who's the only one who knows about the spell of the necklace [or was it about Micheal?].
Jeremy connects with Anna and she tells him about Micheal who's a vampire hunter and it would be extremely idiotic of them to wake him up.
While Tyler and Care are sharing a moment, Rebecca interrupts them taking down Care and dragging Tyler to the gym where Matt, Bonnie, Klaus and Elena are. Bonnie had appeared at the gym later on.
Klaus wants Bonnie to find a solution to the problem. He also gives Tyler his blood who collapses immediately. Stefan also appears at the gym and apologizes to Klaus telling him Elena no longer means anything to him anymore. He also promises to do whatever Klaus wants but Klaus does not trust him. After Klaus hits Elena, Stefan tries to attack him but is compelled to the kill the 2 humans in the gym compelled by Klaus. Stefan does that. Stefan was also compelled to do as Klaus tells him to. No matter what.
After going through pictures in Care's phone, Rebecca finds out that Elena has her necklace so she marches back to the gym and demands to know where her necklace. Elena tells her she doesn't know so Rebecca attacks her but Klaus stops her. He asks Elena nicely and she tells him that someone stole it. Klaus realizes Katherine might have. So he decides to put a time limit on the whole thing. He gives Bonnie 20 minutes to find a solution. If she is not able to do so in 20 minutes, Stefan will have to feed from Elena.
Matt finds all his stuff thrown around and somehow comes up with the solution that if he dies and comes back to life again, he'll be able to see ghosts just like Jeremy. Meanwhile, Vicki has been trying to talk to him but cannot. So Matt jumps into the pool with the drainage sewer thing since it's heavy and it will make it impossible for Matt come back up. Before doing that, he had told Bonnie his plan and told her to meet him at the pool so she rushes there. She takes him out of the water and does CPR, and pushes his chest attempting to take the water out of him. She succeeds but while he was "dead", he saw Vicki who told him give Bonnie a message. The message was that Klaus is unable to make hybrids due to the fact that Elena is still alive.
Damon finds multiple texts from Bonnie about Klaus so he decides to go back despite Katherine's attempts to stop him. Jeremy stays back with Katherine.
Time runs out and Stefan yells at Elena to run so she does. But he follows her, trying to fight the urge the whole time. Before the time ran out, Elena had asked him to take a drink from her and then resist but he had told her how he couldn't stop if he started.
Just as Elena is running, Klaus grabs her. He compels Stefan to "turn it off" [as in the humanity and love, etc]. After that, Stefan lunges for Elena's throat.
Elena then wakes up in a hospital to find out that the nurse had been taking blood from her not giving. She asks why and the nurse tells her because Klaus needed it. Weak and injected with medication [i assume the latter part], she falls asleep again.
Klaus gives Tyler Elena's blood which converts Tyler into a hybrid successfully. Rebbecca wonders how Klaus figured out that Elena's blood would do the trick. Klaus explains how the original witch hated him so she always told him the wrong thing, therefore all he had to do was do the opposite of what she's said. Which meant that Elena's blood was the solution, not her death. Rebecca then realizes, this hybrid obsession was to get rid of Klaus's loneliness but Klaus denies it. When Rebecca leaves, Damon appears and threatens Klaus using Micheal when he's about to kill him. Once Klaus leaves, Damon goes to Elena and takes her home.
Damon offers to erase Elena's memory but she says no. "I shouldn't have left. I promise you, i will never leave you again." -Damon.
That's when Stefan appears. He tells Damon that Klaus has told him to keep an eye on him until he returns.
Jere and Kat arrive at a cellar where the witches had entombed Micheal. Katherine opens the coffin and finds him lying there.
