Anil smitten by Mallika's charms

The Tips film, penned by Shiraaz Ahmed (Humraaz, Aitraaz), is a story of two brothers who are set to outwit each other. Saif Ali Khan plays Fardeen Khan's older brother while Anil Kapoor plays a cop in the film.

"It's an Abbas-Mastan thriller," is all that Anil is willing to reveal about the film. But ask him about his actress and he starts gushing.

Gaga over Mallika

And how does he connect to the sexy Mallika? "She's a very sweet girl, a thorough professional and always comes to the sets on time. Mallika really wants to prove herself as an actress and puts her heart and soul into whatever she does." But Mallika is also known to be a bit of a diva, throwing tantrums, coming late on the sets and throwing her weight around.

"That's not true," refutes Anil. "She has never behaved that way with me and nor does she come late on the sets. I have always found her extremely committed to her work." And then perhaps he realises he's giving away quite a bit on the sexy actress he frowns and asks us, "Is this story about me or Mallika?" and clams up.

Heroine hunt

Ramesh Taurani from Tips adds, "Talks are on. Mallika and we will finalise everything within the next couple of days. There are three guys and three girls in the film and right now we are finalising the three heroines."

Mallika Sherawat's business manager Kaleem Khan admits that Mallika has been approached to act in the film and negotiations are on but he adds, "Mallika is not opposite Anil or anyone. Talks are going on."

The film is slated to be shot in Australia from February. Currently, Abbas-Mastan are busy adding the finishing touches to Mukta Arts' 36 China Town (starring Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Upen Patel) after which they will start working on Tips film and a film with Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu.
