Foolish delivery scene

Most foolish delivery scene
1. First of all, mother is always aware that baby is boy or girl. As soon as they pull the baby out, the first thing they do is to show baby to mom -- blood and all gook covered as it is. No doctor shows the baby only after it is cleaned up and all decorated - silly. The mother holds the child too for atleast a couple of mins before cleaning up.
Here veer had to go and tell ichcha -- your baby is a boy 😕. Since when does an outside person go and inform the woman delivering what she delivered?
2. Veer was supposed to be inside the delivery room instead of outside. The only reason if he was at all outside should have been to take care of Mukhta and kanha as ichcha had requested him to.
To have veer neither taking care of the other two children and not be inside the delivery room was stupid.
3. Ichcha was in a private room. In private delivery rooms, all operating facilities (even if ichcha had a caesarian) as well as all baby cleaning facilities are IN THE ROOM itself. Why did the nurse have to take the baby outside to clean the bachcha?
4. When did the nurse take the baby out of the room to clean it (the hospital room had only one door) -- after ichcha delivered, if the nurse came out to take the baby, everyone would have crowded around for a glimpse of the baby? The baby mysteriously disappeared from the room.
Just ridiculous.
5) Finally, for someone to have exchanged the baby, the baby would have to be left alone without the vigilance of a nurse. Which hospital would just allow a baby to be left unsupervised even for a minute? What if a baby is kidnapped.
I seriously feel all these things can happen in a careless hospital when a woman is giving birth in some sort of mass, general ward.
For the Bundela family who can afford a private room in a private hospital, this is just ridiculous.

@bangalores -- I am just talking about the format of the delivery scene and the dead baby.
What you said about nobody asking if ichcha was okay after hearing news about baby boy is far too much courtesy to expect from the bundelas. 😆😆😆. They only see their bahus as waaris-breeding/vansh reincarnation machines or conduits. There is no real feeling for the bahu.

well said and documented...nothing about UT is sensible...
lately everything is ridiculous and delivery was the worst of the lot...
no Veecha or veecha kid moment...CVS like messing up Veecha so no point in talking about them...
Gaurav calls himself a protagonist probably he is now the hero of the show Veecha have been given a back seat...guess tune in to the change contd to watch or QUIT

well to watch Uttaran, you have to willingly suspend all sense of disbelief...and progressiveness...

You are right about women being vessels for bearing the 'vaaris'... they even thanked her for giving them a baby boy..

yeah. CVs must all be men who have no exposure to how deliveries take place.
1. Mother is not unconscious during the delivery. Even during caesarian, anaesthetic is given only below the waist -- so only lower half of the body is numb -- upper half is fine and woman is fully conscious and knows what is happening. So ichcha should have known baby is boy without veer informing her. She would know as soon as the child came outside her. 😆
2. Baby is not cleaned immediately -- when baby comes out, the baby is dirty -yes - with lots of slime and blood. But before cleaning only, baby is placed in woman's arms and then the doctor cuts the umbilical cord and gathers the placenta. Atleast for five minutes, there are post-delivery procedures, when mom holds the baby
3. Finally "cleaning the baby" is not some great procedure where the nurse has to take the child to some special bath chamber outside the room.
It only requires a towel dipped in warm water and dettol to clean the baby. A small basin of hot water and dettol - baby is dipped in it for body cleaning, and face is cleaned by wiping with a towel. This the nurse does within five minutes of baby's birth. All the slime is liquid slime which needs to be washed away with warm water. There is no great chemical spa process required. BABY COULD HAVE BEEN CLEANED IN THE ROOM ITSELF.
Here veer did not even see the baby. Baby's dad always sees baby even before cleaned.
4. Finally, i dont understand why the bundela family waited till the contractions started to bring ichcha to the hospital.
In rich families, girls check into maternity homes atleast one week before the due date to ensure that everything is in good order... and that there are no last minute complications during the delivery.
Given that it was the fag end of the ninth month (and ichcha did not go into early labour unexpectedly), I am really surprised that the bundelas with all their wealth did not arrange this facility for their long suffering bahu ichcha. 😡😡. What if there were some complication at home? How long would it take doctor to get there? What if something ruptures on the way to the hospital in the car?
All these were unnecessary risks that the bundelas took.

You have highlighted some very good & valid points 👏, unfortunately logic has no meaning in UT.😕

Even then, the least cvs could do is show some sane stuff relevant to today's era.

Somehow, they just want to create a sleazy drama and attract audience attention by separating the baby from parents.

Logic, story, relevance to today's world have no meaning for them. It takes an able story writer to be able to create a good compelling drama with all these points taken care off.

Veer who says his wife is his life, just stands outside the delivery room, is that possible for such a loving hubby ? Everyone is already celebrating without even looking at the infant!! & nobody bothered to find out how is ichcha ?

Very poorly directed ...

Forget about the rich bundelas, even a modest family nowadays does all homework & ensures best of facilities are available before deciding upon a hospital.

These Bundelas can only flaunt money on functions, costumes & useless gifts.

What use is all their money if they cannot ensure a safe secure delivery for their daughter-in-law...ja ke doob maro sab ke sab...😡...

@tinoo i agree wid ur all points 👏👏👏except no.4.its not that rich families always hire delivery rooms in advance. generally women r taken 2 hospital only 1-2 days b4 due date even if they r from rich families. so here it can b understood.
but rest of the things r really so stupid & u rightly pointed out that baby is 1st given 2 the mother if shes not unconscious during normal delivery!! a
and i rem wen taps delivered veer was immediately went 2 the room & here his beluved wife is concerned but he went after so much time & didn't even see his baby!!🥱🥱🥱wat a crap!!🤢🤢
