Rahman is always in terrific form whenever he composes Sufi style music!

Right from Haji Ali, to Khawja to this one...Rahman's talent comes out best when he is composing stuff like this!

This film is just getting better and better with each promo!

Nice song but reminds me too much of Khwaja mere Khwaja. Whoa, the promos if this film seem to be coming out fast and in very little time gap between them!

Beautiful but what does it mean?

Melodious, peaceful, soothing track...love how the guitar offers a surprisingly beautiful blend with the Sufi arrangement. Really well incorporated. Yes, it is reminiscent of Khwaja Mere Khwaja as well as Arziyan, and different in it's own way with its own flavour, I suppose. At any rate, it's the first song I actually like of the three I've heard. Katiya Karoon I can't decide on until I hear the entire track, and Jo Bhi Main appeals to me more in the poetry than in the melody. No offense meant, just my opinion.

As for the video, I'm intrigued. And that's a good thing. The promos of Rockstar, I've felt, both reveal and conceal. There's this sense of inscrutability that comes with them all, for me. They tell me what's happening, and at the same time leave me wondering what it's all about.

Special mention to the expression on Ranbir's face at one point in the song, when he sings Maula...and leaves off looking, almost awestruck, at either the sky or the edifice or both. Or neither...
