What is interesting here is that in the VM how Guddu recognizes that RJ has to still fully blossom for them to have a love affair. Through his eyes she is the nervous girl behind the saris, but by encouraging her to take risks she becomes flirty in the middle segments and then finally there is a real womanliness to her. It is then that they share the bedroom scene

Guddu is not a fool. He understand that RJ has to evolve and that he can help her. He is not as loud about it as she is and in some ways more gentle and surprising subtle about encouraging her to change. He actually always encourages her to change, but does not tell her it outright. In the temple bargaining scene and in the mall with the cell phone guy , he pushes RJ to be more aggressive, but does not let her know

Right now she is mostly the girl in the first scene. But Guddu really wants RJ to come out of her shell and be someone who can ask for what she wants. It reminds me after he kisses her and says "It is important for me to know your feelings.."

So this is a really belated post but I had wanted to do the analysis for this dream sequence. Refer back to the dream Guddu had about Gunjhun in the May 20, 2011 episode.

Scene 1:
Guddu sleeping... always seems to be angled toward Runjhun when he is happy with her.

Scene 2:
Watching Runjhun get ready. He's watching her secretly and thinks that she knows he is there and is trying to entice him. Insight into his mentality.

Scene 3: Part are foreshadowing?
Balcony scene. He sees flashes of her smiles to him (some where she smiled behind his back so he could not have seen her smiling...) Guddu surprises Runjhun behind one sari and she has a small smile but walks away. He surprises her again and takes off his glasses to show that he's lovingly looking at her. Almost like he hides his intentions the first time and then shows her what he's thinking in the 2nd instance. Runjhun does not smile this time and looks sad. 🤢🤢 Him showing up after she gets rid of the saris almost implies that Runjhun does not see him until he intentionally reveals himself. I found it weird that she smiled the first time and not the second. Does that mean she was happy when she first thought he liked her and then thinks he's lying when he comes to her a 2nd time? Taking off his glasses could be him revealing himself even more to her but she does not buy it.

Scene 4: Foreshadowing
Still balcony. But they are walking on the ledge. Haila!! Both walk on the ledge toward each other but Guddu is NOT looking at Runjhun but looking across the street so it seems to imply he does not see her overcoming her challenge to come to him.😭 Then he's sitting and waving her toward him as she actually walks on the railing and he is laughing as Runjhun slowly "walks on a wire" for him. After he's seen enough he helps her finish the walk... hmmm...it looks like Guddu Shukla wants to take Runjhun's agnipariksha (test Runjhun)...but he won't make her go all the way on her own but rather help her through it once she has gone through some of it on her own. I think the first part where he doesn't see her walk the ledge is what we are seeing this week where Guddu does not recognize what Runjhun has overcome i.e. her prior feelings for him when he harassed her and how she is starting to love him.

Scene 5:
Guddu watching Runjhun work. The lyrics make me think that this is Guddu remembering Runjhun pre-marriage. The lyrics say "Pehle Pehal Tujhe Dekha Tho Dil Mera." So maybe he's remembering seeing Runjhun working before when he was in the carom club... they show Guddu walking outside PN and then the two exchange glances as he comes inside to watch her. Makes me think he liked her from the beginning?

Scene 6: Foreshadowing
Runjhun comes to close the door to PN to Guddu as he walks over with flowers. That scene starts of with the following lyrics, "Neendon Mein Gul Gaye Hai Sapne Jo Tere." Fitting no?😆His right hand is bandaged with the handkerchief she embroidered for him... same hand that he touched her with above the carom club. So he knows that the touch thing is still an issue he still has to overcome. The fact that Kukkan and Jabbo both give him flowers make me think he'll have to try twice as hard to win Runjhun. Why is he smiling as she locks him out of PN? Then he smies as he turns aroun with the flowers... both still in his hands. Does he think he'll pine for her but she will be happy to see him go? Or is he seeing this as a game? It could be his mind remembering the challenge and the fact that he has to leave but it seems like it is more than that... Maybe he is happy that even when he leaves PN he will still be able to see Runjhun from the carom club...

Scene 7: Foreshadowing
Rickshaw scene. He comes toward her with flowers outside of PN with flowers and she gets upset when he goes away. Then he reappears in front of her and she is relieved. Both smile at one another. Does he know he'll have to meet with her outside of PN once he is gone and she'll be happy to see him? Him coming behind the rickshaw makes me think he knows he'll have to chase her.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that he no longer has the handkerchief on his right hand and is now holding the bouquet of flowers that was in his left hand...so the touch issue has been resolved. Also, Runjhun appears to lock the door but has really left the door unlocked... you see the chain hanging. Maybe that's a way of seeing the door to her heart is still open for Guddu hence he is smiling?

Scene 8: Foreshadowing
😍 Candle scene. Reunion scene once the two are back together? Or him thinking about knowing acknowledging their feeling for one another. Both seem to gaze lovingly at the other... no hesitation.

Scene 9:
Bedroom again. Runjhun turns toward Guddu and smiles... wonder what she's dreaming about...😍

Loved your analysis.

Just wanted to add my bit 😃 Scene 7, in the rickshaw - when he reappears in the rickshaw he moves his eyebrows up and down. Like he is asking her a question - if she now has place for him in her heart and she smiles and gestures to come into the rickshaw and into her heart. He smiles and the next scene is the candle scene.
The same thought comes to my mind every time I see this scene. Just thought of sharing it today.😊

That is nice. I love RJ's smile. It is so sweet and warm in the Rickshaw. It is so much her loving nature. And yes, it is still the self-assured Guddu with the slight smile, cocky and arrogant in the rickshaw.

My favorite detail is when she walks away in scene 5, the way Guddu looks her up and down. He has always had a thing for her back 😉

@ Gardes, you and I are in agreement. RJ is one tough chick and Guddu knows it. I was talking about him wanting her to express herself more and also coax her towards a sensual awakening

Apparently, I do not have much to do this weekend 😊 Another thought came to my mind - @ blue - was Guddu referring to him being jealous of Abhigyan and the other suitors?

That is good as that follows the sentence before implying that he was attracted from the first time he saw her.

Argh it is so romantic! So want to see him pining for her and trying to win her.

Thank you for sharing your observations!! I really liked the nok jhok of the rickshaw scene. It was really cute. And, the lines of this song are so fitting for Guddu and Runjhun... it's interesting because the song mentions falling in love with her when he first saw so the other line could refer to Abhi as well. I'm not sure if every single line applies to the show since they didn't write it but I feel like they picked the song for a reason so most of the lines probably do apply.
